Great to see Iggy holding up so well! 'Fancy' has been such a grower for me - when the 6 minute version surfaced I was quite disappointed but since the release of the video I've liked it more and more. I didn't realise her album was available to listen to already, I'll definitely be checking it out though. I still regularly listen to 'Work' which is probably my favourite. Its lyrics are very memorable and I just love the overall sound of it. :wub:

 

Nice to see 'Empire' make your Top 10 - I heard it early last week for the first time and I thought it was a beautiful track, really didn't expect something like this from Shakira! Much stronger song than 'Can't Remember to Forget You' I think.

Fancy took a few weeks to grow on me but it really is a fantastic track, Iggy's yet to put out a bad single for me! The video really helped it click, absolutely fantastic as always with her videos. The album is really good, it hurt to only have it enter at #2 here but The Vamps were way too strong with their meet-and-greet effect :P Work is an INCREDIBLE song though, easily her best. The album is most like Change Your Life out of all the singles though I think, but Work and Fancy are also good representations (Bounce less so, hence why it's on the deluxe only oops).

 

Empire really clicked with me over the past couple of weeks, such a fantastic song and very different for her! I think I prefer CRTFY still, it's one of my favourites this year, but she's certainly picking the singles well. Dare (La La La) has been confirmed as single #3 I believe, which is a perfect choice IMO!

Ooh, expected to see Lucie debut at #1 here, I'm quite shocked, hopefully a 3-1 rise next week! I really need to get listening to Iggy's album before I write my chart up at the weekend, rather liking The Vamps debut!

Fancy took a few weeks to grow on me but it really is a fantastic track, Iggy's yet to put out a bad single for me! The video really helped it click, absolutely fantastic as always with her videos. The album is really good, it hurt to only have it enter at #2 here but The Vamps were way too strong with their meet-and-greet effect :P Work is an INCREDIBLE song though, easily her best. The album is most like Change Your Life out of all the singles though I think, but Work and Fancy are also good representations (Bounce less so, hence why it's on the deluxe only oops).

 

Empire really clicked with me over the past couple of weeks, such a fantastic song and very different for her! I think I prefer CRTFY still, it's one of my favourites this year, but she's certainly picking the singles well. Dare (La La La) has been confirmed as single #3 I believe, which is a perfect choice IMO!

I've been listening to The New Classic all week and I'm really impressed with it! Only a couple of tracks at the end of the standard edition that I haven't warmed to yet, the rest are really strong, catchy songs. I agree 'Change Your Life' is perhaps the best representation from the singles for the album but I can definitely hear influences of 'Work', especially in 'New Bitch' which is one of my favourites. :wub: 'Black Widow' is also a great choice of single #5.

 

Ooh, how did the meet-and-greet with The Vamps go? You weren't with the crazy fans which caused a bit of chaos were you? :P

 

Not heard 'Dare (La La La)' but I will when a video emerges! Still enjoying 'Empire' right now.

The song premiered on the day that I type up my chart so it kinda threw a curveball :lol: I very much love the song though so #3 with less than 24 hours worth of plays isn't too bad! Iggy's album is fantastic, most people seem to like it aside from the last couple of tracks on the standard (which is fair enough tbh, Lady Patra especially is awful). The Vamps' debut is exactly what I wanted from them :heart: Pop music at its best.

Yay, glad to hear you're liking it! It's the general consensus it seems that the last couple of tracks on the standard are the weakest two and I'd agree, but it's almost flawless other than that. Black Widow is a READY MADE HIT, totally needs to smash.

 

It went fantastic thanks! :D I was there on that day, yeah :lol: Was quite lucky to arrive in time to get a wristband, had to queue for 4 hours just to get the wristband to get in, but it wasn't long after me that they ran out I believe. Then had to queue for 4 more hours after that :lol: Totally worth it though, got my picture with them :heart: 'tis my Twitter DP right now.

 

I think you'll be a fan of Dare (La La La)! I'm definitely loving Empire lots right now though, wish it was doing a bit better than it is.
