April 23, 201411 yr Chris Brown finally having a top 10 hit from X !! ! I was waiting for it, it wasn't Love More, but Loyal did it !!!!
April 23, 201411 yr BILLBOARD HOT 100 (billboard chart date 3rd May 2014) LW TW ARTIST - TITLE 01 01 Pharrell Williams - Happy 02 02 John Legend - All Of Me 04 03 Jason Derulo featuring 2 Chainz - Talk Dirty 03 04 Katy Perry featuring Juicy J - Dark Horse 05 05 Idina Menzel - Let It Go 06 06 Bastille - Pompeii 08 07 DJ Snake & Lil Jon - Turn Down For What 12 08 Justin Timberlake - Not a Bad Thing 11 09 Chris Brown featuring Lil Wayne & French Montana or Too $hort or Tyga - Loyal 07 10 Lorde - Team This is a bit more what the Hot 100 should be like. Two new entries into the top 10 and all in all, 6 movers within it. Not great but not too bad. Ed Sheeran should sneak in soon enough as well.
April 23, 201411 yr More than one song entering the top 10 in a week? Songs actually moving in the top 6? What is this BLASPHEMY? Don't particularly care for either of the entries but yay for DJ Snake climbing again I guess.
April 23, 201411 yr It does irk me that Justin Timberlake is relevant again. I kinda liked his career randomly dying a death :(
April 23, 201411 yr Good to see two songs climbing into the Hot 10, would be nice if it happened more often. Pharrell still slaying :D Although John Legend could easily overtake soon
April 23, 201411 yr Yeah, John Legend is actually more threatening than I thought it ever would be :o The 60k gap in sales is there (although I don't know the percentage change trends for either there) but John has the edge in on-demand streaming and could overtake on airplay too... 'Happy' will definitely get a 10th week at least, probably 11th.
April 24, 201411 yr 15 songs by British artists in the Hot 100 and half of them in the top 40!!!! it's a new record!!! :yahoo: great climbs for Rixton, Calvin Harris & Disclosure, hopefully they'll be all in the top 40 soon...
April 24, 201411 yr Author BILLBOARD HOT 100 42 48 Imagine Dragons - Radioactive - (*86 weeks*) Last week, I think.
April 24, 201411 yr Pleased for Lana going top 20 and getting her best début in the act. Gonna be awful to see it drop right out of the Hot 100 next week though :drama: Thankfully its lack of airplay can be explained by the fact that it hasn't been sent to radio yet. Hopefully that's a situation that's changed soon enough.
April 24, 201411 yr I'm looking for an American summer of "Rather be" playing on the radio ALL DAY LONG
April 24, 201411 yr I'm looking for an American summer of "Rather be" playing on the radio ALL DAY LONG I think that's looking likely at this point. The fact that it's already bubbling under is just bizarre because it has no airplay at all and it's only #265 on iTunes. It must be doing really well on streaming, which is a good sign.
April 24, 201411 yr Yay for 'Midnight' entering! Of course that was expected considering it went top 3 on iTunes but then that NEEDTOBREATHE track never even made Bubbling Under so you never know. COOL for 'Am I Wrong' too but that name change is not gonna stop pissing me off. Oh and 'Sing' actually CLIMBING in its second week?!
April 25, 201411 yr Clean Bandit are doing really well, could shape up to be at least a top-20 for them. Not a big fan of a song but always love some Brits performing well in the US.
April 25, 201411 yr Author BILLBOARD HOT 100 15 14 Ed Sheeran - Sing Surprised he climbed this week, as most fall in the second week, but his airplay is very good.
April 26, 201411 yr Ain't It Fun surpasses Misery Business (#26), The Only Exception (#24) and Still Into You (#24) to become Paramore's highest charting hit! :yahoo: :cheer: :w00t:
