What a f***ing shame. I hate radio 1 so much. They basically playlisted all of The Sats competition because they're not "current" like shitty Kieza or Foxes despite their song being so much better.

To be honest, jokes aside, they kinda really did get shit lately. They are moving on from the Pop sound and they have said it themselves. Obviously they still playlist your everyday pop song because there's still a pop audience, but yeah, it seems they want to be more "hipster" or whatever and play more "credible" acts/songs. -_-

And obviously, as a Pop fan even before being a Saturdays fan, it's upsetting. They are, afterall, the biggest radio in the UK.

:o You're the one being pretentious, rolling eyes and everything.
"a very clear line which you need to be educated on, evidently"
Really? Wow, okay. I still fail to see how I'm the one who isn't nice and you, somehow, are to be honest... (Or is that ripping your opinion to shreds? *actually sincerely asking*)

I don't think I put my opinions above any other opinions either. Except maybe for the whole 'Missing You' thing, but again, it's a banter, and
I'm sorry
if you feel intimidated/pressured on
that
topic, but that's the only thing I will apologize for (the whole Missing You thing), because it's a banter, and it's meant to be a joke.  I don't actually hate it that much, nor do I really mind people enjoying it. However, that's the only subject. Because on every other topics, I tell my opinion just like you do, and somehow you get overly intimidated by it when I use plenty of humour, smileys and banter, so there's no need to feel like it...

I hope you do realise you're actually the one trying to rip me (not even my opinion, like properly
me
you know) to shreds? You've been on my back for weeks now. It's a bit tiring if I'm being honest... :/ (I'm open to talk about it in PM, but somehow I feel like you won't want to...)

And that's where I disagree with you (but somehow, I'm only ripping your opinion to shreds instead of saying mine...) because, to me, there's a difference between supporting and hammering. In my opinion, we can't say it was hinted the song will be "hammered" because fans thought it would get playlisted back then in April (which I think we need to take into consideration) when we knew nothing at all.

I think it's fine to discuss about different opinions. People clash on opinions everyday. We can't agree on everything, but it doesn't mean we can't have a debate either. But I do take notes and I'll try being "nicer" to you when responding to your messages so we can have a proper discussion and not some sassy conversation.

(Also, I think there's a misunderstanding, my point about JG2N was that he might just been way too enthusiastic about the whole thing which is why he said it would be hammered. Like Joe and Lee said/agreed on, some fans get excited really easily when something looks positive for the girls. Although, I do think it's unfair of me to assume that of him and I guess we would need to ask him.)

Once again you fail to accept that I have an opinion on how you've presented your opinions/views/addressed posters, which you've demonstrated through your opening line: the way you consistently respond to any opinion expressed that is opposite to yours and persistently done. I'm here for a laugh and a debate/discussion just as much as the next Sats fan is, but at times you do come across as a bit of a Hermione Granger in that your opinion per say is more important - joking aside or not. It's interesting you say I've been on your back for weeks, I don't think I have because I feel as though you've been on mine every other day, but regardless it's not pleasant, is it? Take note and maybe adjust your tone that way incidents like this can/could be avoided as incidents like these deter others from signing up to Buzzjack, and by extension posting in this forum (something of which I've considered doing less of because of certain posters) I'm open for any PM discussion. This is me being pessimistic again but I think we all need to make the most of Sats discussions/enjoy them because like ANY artist, they won't be around forever, and this has been far from a pleasant discussoin. ^_^

...But you've just done what you're accusing me of doing?

I'm gonna send you a PM later today (I'm actually at work, oops :kink: ) so we can talk this through.

To be honest, jokes aside, they kinda really did get shit lately. They are moving on from the Pop sound and they have said it themselves. I think it kinda went downhill with LFTW really. There was no particular sound to it and it felt like it was all over the place and most of the songs are just there because they've been produced by big producers. I also feel like that may have been a reason to why the album didn't do well. I mean it followed on from a top 5 hit which didn't completely fail in airplay, so in theory it should've done well.

Their only hope of getting back onto R1's playlist is by releasing something with more substance. If you're not a pop fan then the Sats' recent music probably just sounds like racket. NGU and WAYWF would stick out like a sore thumb on the playlist when you think about it.
