Posted May 5, 201411 yr How I compile my charts: With a few exceptions, I don't go out of my way to seek out new songs - I usually wait until I hear them on the radio. I mainly listen to Radio 1 and for this reason, most (though not all) songs in my chart are those which are played on Radio 1. I don't usually add a song to my chart until it's started gaining some airplay. Songs generally tend to climb gradually as they grow on me, peak and then fall fast, so the chart looks similar to an 80's/90's singles chart. I also usually get bored of a song within a few weeks, so songs don't generally tend to hang around the chart for more than a few weeks - typically around 9 or 10 weeks for a Number 1. Is it good? 26 - I would say 'Stay With Me' has a good chance of going to #1, yeah. I don't think he'll get too much longevity after that though. 31 - Yeah the singles this era aren't fantastic, with the exception of 'Roar' :) 32 - Is she? It just sounds like a Lana song to me! Yeah it's the first Rita Ora song I've properly loved, I'm glad she did something a little different! I really enjoy the The Shift K3Y track and the Joel Compass one is amazing, easily gonna be challenging for my Top 3 next week. I quite liked 'Run' too. I was a bit disappointed at its slight under-performance officially though. Not too bothered about seeing Gaga really.
