Week 18, 2014

04-05-2014

This week's chart sees Fancy log a 5th week at #1, while Iggy's next single Black Widow zooms in at #6.

Iggy fends off tough competition in the form of a French song, Regarde-Nous. The top 2 is miles ahead of the rest of the top 5 Stupid Love at 3, Up at 4 and Celebrate The Rain at 5.

Rita Ora claims a top 10 spot with I Will Never Let You Down and Katy Perry is still outside the top 10 with her latest single Birthday.

Over on the new entries it's a Eurovision Overload. The Netherlands enter at #23 with Calm After The Storm, Spain debut at #26 with Dancing In The Rain, closely followed by Sweden with Undo and the UK with Children Of The Universe at #32 is closely followed by Portugal with Quero Ser Tue.

In the Bubbling Under Chart #9 to #20 are all Eurovision songs, with (in order), Moldova, Romania, Slovenia, Ukraine, Norway, Albania, Denmark, Poland, Armenia, Poland, France, Israel and Finland. A real invasion one could say. Besides this the Eurovision compilation album also debuts at #1, pushing Iggy Azalea down to #2.
