From that clip, I LOVE the end bit when Vanessa is all "YEEEEHHH!" and ablibing over the chorus and then it breaks into the last chorus which seems to have some sort of epic key change during the chorus which I hope is in it more than once and the chorus is not just monotone.

Not at all - personally I'd rather Frankie be underused and have amazing moments rather than be splattered everywhere. Mollie's another one like that really.

Frankie's stans have been a bit delusional about her bits in their songs. She hardly "always gets the better parts" like they want to pretend. The only thing that comes to mind would be 'Not Giving Up', but the chorus is so strong and Mollie's verse is such an highlight that I don't even know if Frankie's bridge is such "a better part". The whole part after Frankie's bridge on Notorious is better than the actual bridge. Vanessa's middle-8 is the highlight of Ego, not Frankie's verse, etc. :unsure:

 

I prefer what seantobewild used as wording ; she gets to have "amazing moments" (amongst other amazing moments) that we can appreciate a lot more. :wub:

Me too, somebody on Popjustice has said they're in Capital tomorrow, but no source.

 

I'm off to Glastonbury tomorrow, so It's going to be very difficult for me to hear the single until I come back now. Oh hell naw! Vanessa's middle 8 makes that song....which is why when she doesn't belt the last note in performances it becomes anticlimactic.

 

Also, Totto as much as I appreciate Rochelle helping Vanessa and being able to sing the middle 8, she struggled too. Its not really in her range.

I don't think she struggled at all, she looked pretty confortable singing it. It's not as good as what Vanessa used to be able to do, but it's still much better than what we get nowadays.

 

However, I still don't like Una on that part. It's just not the same.

 

On a similar note, I love how Mollie has taken the lead on the chorus of Ego.
