Brian May has revealed details of upcoming Queen projects in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine. A new compilation album featuring unheard material from the 80s (likely to be titled Queen Forever) will be released towards the end of the year.

There's also a follow-up musical to the iamspamspamamisink jukebox musical We Will Rock You planned, also written by May and Ben Elton (who collaborated on the first).

Finally Queen are doing a 19-date North American tour this Summer featuring Adam Lambert.

I'm interested to hear new music from them, they have an absolutely massive catalogue of smash hits (and some lesser known gems too). I'm not that familiar with their non-singles, so this album will just be like listening to an original album for me (as much as I dislike the idea of posthumous material).

I don't mind hearing unreleased tracks from them, though one wonders just why they were unreleased at the time! I'm against Queen still touring with other singers. They're obviously just doing it for the money. No Freddie = No Queen. John Deacon's the only one left with any self-respect for not touring.
