I have always thought very highly of Nadine throughout this due to her positive attitude to the girls in spite of the somewhat obvious bad blood involved in the break/split. The interview where she spoke about being uninformed of the split really made me feel quite bad for her (for obvious reasons, it must have been a horrible thing to happen) and the way she spoke about not signing the document ("I'm a one-man band!") was very endearing while showing just how passionate she is for the band. At the same time, if she is at all aware of why the group wanted to split in the first place (i.e. bad blood over her forcing the break in 2009) then it was somewhat unfair/manipulative of her to paint herself as the victim of a group who hated her for unexplained reasons.

As much as I love Nadine and her quirky/outright insane ways, as well as her obvious love for the group, I am not finding it hard to believe she's the type to leave out details to paint herself in a better light in this situation. Strange as it may be to bring up, her time on Irish Popstars really didn't say much for her honesty. That sounds very unfair, it's just one incident from when she was half the age she is now, but at the same time it's something that means it's hard to imagine her as someone telling a perfectly unbiased version of events.

I'm kind of rambling at this stage, so I'll try to get back on topic :P Essentially I think it's somewhat unfair to call Cheryl out on being personal towards Nadine at this point in time. Sure, "full of shit" is a lot more vulgar than what Nadine said but is a bit of vulgarity any worse than someone leaving out massive details of her own failings to make out everyone but herself as a terrible person? I tend to side with Nadine in these things but she cast the first stone with painting the other girls as 4 backstabbing bitches. Kimberley of course is another story and I think Nadine would be totally justified in criticising her, but I'm speaking about Cheryl's retaliation and Nadine blaming all of the group rather than just Kimbers.

I agree with everything you wrote! I just wish they could all see things from the other's point of view really. Hopefully at some point in the future they'll forgive each other. :(

Apologies if there's a separate thread but did anything happen with the EMA nomination?

I believe One Direction won Best UK/Ireland act in the end, but it was great for Cheryl to be nominated anyway. :D

Exactly, I'm actually pleased with nomination.

Now I want nomination for BRIT's

Jealousy is ugly indeed.

I guess she never got over that moment when Cheryl told Amelle's sister "Are you the mam?"

Although I think Amelle has been the idiot here, why did Cheryl say that? I'd probably be a bit peeved as well.

She didm't do it on purpose, watch it, it's so funny

From 1:00 :

So do you think this will be Cheryl's last album?

Unfortunately for us that actually enjoy Cheryl the popstar it's a shame she makes a lot more money from everything else she does compared to music.

I would love for her to release some EPs from time to time, 4 or 5 songs that could easily be a single instead of a complete album. With streaming I think we'll start seeing shorter albums again since album sales are at its lower point.

I can see her getting pregnant next year... She's already 31 and I don't think she'll wait much longer.

I definitely can't see it being her last album, she seems to be enjoying performing more than in any of her solo eras right now and has definitely found the perfect sound for her. Would be a crying shame if she stopped after this.

I suppose it depends on whether Cheryl & the label feel it's worth while or not! Although she's recently achieved 2 more #1 singles, the album hasn't set the charts alight, maybe she'll become a bit disillusioned by that. And yeah, a baby could well be on the way once this 'era' is over.

I don't think the label is going to have any problem, I mean, they keep releasing albums from less successful acts (single and album) and I don't think Cheryl is expensive at all when it comes to promo because it usually comes all from herself (tabloids). She usually has less promo than a lot of average popstars (I'm talking about promo that costs money, not her X Factor judging role).

But I'm not that sure about Cheryl herself.

I hope she tours next year, I saw someone mentioning a theatre tour and I'm 100% behind that idea, more than an arena tour.

Would much rather Girls Aloud kissed, made up and reunited than another Cheryl album. :P

That's never gong to happen, not the 5 of them. I could see collaborations between Cheryl, Nicola, Kimberley and even Sarah... Buy to reform as a 5 piece? Never

Things need to change a lot for a little possibility of a comeback to ever exist.
