to be fair I doubt Tremor would've made top 40 if streaming was counted that week. Gold Skies should certainly out peak it in the sales chart if not officially, I hope it can scrape the official top 40 anyway

a typically poppy-afrobeat track from Fuse. it's not quite up there with 'Dangerous Love', but i'm fairly certain it'll give him a fourth top 10 hit at least

First time I've heard this, another catchy bit of Afro-pop from Fuse! Agreed, it should give him another Top 10 single.

Wow. Amazingly the TOTD for today (29/09) is Pitbull feat. John Ryan 'Fireball'. Wasn't even expecting this one to be playlisted, let alone being made TOTD :o

 

 

To be fair, it's actually not as annoying as some of his other stuff.

TBF every other release of a Pitbull songs are successful and added to the radio 1 playlist!

Radio 1 used to be a bit funny with Pitbull songs. Some of his tracks were added to the playlist, whilst some of his big hits have totally been snubbed. 'Give Me Everything' was a massive hit, but was only added on the Radio 1 playlist when it reached Number 1 and only reached B-List. They seem to be pretty much on board with him these days.

 

I do like 'Fireball' as a guilty pleasure. I can see it going Top 5 and outpeaking 'Wild Wild Love'.

Remember that just because it's TOTD, it's not yet a foregone conclusion that it will definitely be playlisted. There are plenty of recent examples of TOTDs which haven't been added to the main playlist.

I shamefully rather like Fireball and I do hope Radio 1 playlist it to keep Pitbull's streak of having every other song playlisted!

Alot of the time i think they make tracks TOTD to test the waters with the listeners!

I like this song, but I'm really not expecting it to do much better than 'Azonto'. I feel this is his weakest single yet (I loved the first 4 singles though). :(

 

Still amazes me that he wasn't a one hit wonder, after 'Azonto' I thought he'd never even grace the Top 200 again!

 

It's a mighty shame he did.
