So this is the same as bjsc but with songs under 3 minutes?

 

It's slightly different in that there are four heats (semifinals) consisting of ten songs each. The top two songs from each heat go straight to the final, while the third and fourth placed songs in each heat go to Andra Chansen ('Second Chance'), where they'll battle it out for the final two places in the final. The final will be ten songs with only one winner. ^_^

 

I assume it has to be an unknown song like in bjsc?

We'd like to see people send stuff that's relatively unknown, yes. The reason we push this so much is because the entries and the contest as a whole used to be SO predictable and it became unbearable at one stage. Just try to be a bit different, especially as it's effectively a spin-off so it doesn't count towards your qualification streak or end-of-year tables - it's like a less competitive competition!
