edited it to put the remakes/originals on separate lines as i think there are the kind of moviefans who are not to hot on remakes.

i love most of them lol

voted for texas chainsaw massacre re make. I've seen the original but i didnt think that was too good

i love the nightmare on elm street films, had the boxset for xmas, same with exorcist

i dont really like final destination, and i dont think it should have had 3 films, its one of them films where once you've seen one you've seen them all, if u know what i mean

I voted for The Shinning, I didn't think it was as scary, and was a bit let down because I heard loads of good stuff about it but it was still a very good film. Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake is also one of my favourites, haven't seen the original yet.

Also voted Slasher although I'm not quite sure WHAT the difference is between bloods and guts and slasher ..

Some I like aren't even on that list, but yeah most of them really. The Exorcist, The Shining... Evil Dead weren't bad either.

For the genre I'd pick slasher out of what you've put there.

Blood and guts isn't really a proper term is it? I like a bit of gore though in horror films.

Blood and guts is just gore, and slasher is where the killer keeps coming back and won't die, after being stabbed/shot etc...like Halloween.

I went for Alien, the first really scary Sci Fi film

The original "Night of the Living Dead" is a harrowing, apocalyptic experience, "Dawn of the Dead" is an astounding film as well, both really allegorical and despite all the blood and gore on offer, I feel there is a pretty intense psychological aspect to them as well...

Psychological head fukks are probably my favourite horror sub-genre, especially Korean and J-Horror which really creep you out and stay with you

The Nightmare on elm street films. Original and Part 3 are amazing!
Scream just for the first 12 minutes, the best start of a movie ever! IMO! :D

PLEASE tell me you're joking... the Texas Chainsaw remake was one of the naffest films EVER. :o :o :o :o :o

Unfortunately I dont think they are actually joking....

I think the re-make is much more "popcorn" viewing and for the mtv generation. I'd expect the majority of people under 20 to prefure the remake actually. Whilst the original is a superior movie, I prefure watching the re-make

Out of those I voted Final Destinationnn....even though it's not my favourite so there was no point B).

The idea of it was dead good though.

Out of all those, prolly The Shinning.

And my fav genre is psychological :kink: creepy! :P

The Shining is a truly genius piece of film-making.

Especially at the end when theryre running through the maze, and he has the limp! thats one of the best sequences i have ever seen in a movie ever!

Jack Nicholson is one of the best actors on earth imo! :D

The excorsist / Psychological
