Congratulations on the performance of 'Make Me Feel Better'! A great BJSC discovery for me. So great in fact that this morning I was quietly singing the hook to myself while my 14 year old brother was in the room on his phone and then about 10 minutes after I stopped, he started singing it (despite never having heard the actual track). When I asked him what he was singing, he couldn't explain how it got in his head! That subconscious impact ^_^.

Oh my god, that's awesome! Yay for Alex having some impact

Alex Adair finishes 7th, public rejoices

CNN, ADONIA DIVISION - In crowded bars & homes around the country, residents scream for joy as inaugural BJSC entry finishes in a ravishing 7th, smashing all predictions & odds. The Republic is very happy to announce that they will also be entering next month's BJSC, and therefore #HypedForBJSC went trending on the countries's Twitter. The current #2 on Adonia's chart, following three weeks at #1, making this one of the most well-received debut tracks of all time. The current president, Adam Roy, made this statement at a press conference just a few minutes ago: "We are incredibly proud of Alex Adair and his success in this contest, for bringing an amazing blend of house and pop," and then preceded to do a excited dance move (press drawing:  )

Fabulous to see you off to such a good start. 'Make Me Feel Better' really sounds like the sort of thing that could go on to be a huge hit in the real world as well :o

OOPS at Quirke coming dead last (save for one poor snubbed country that doesn't seem to be listed at all?), I should hope you'll find my next entry a little more palatable! My entries are usually not this 'harsh' sounding

I couldn't find the person that I missed, I must've accidentally deleted it when I was removing all of the DNQ's from my iTunes.

EDIT: Oops, just realized I missed 'Break Of Dawn 2008'. Editing it in (don't worry, you're not dead last anymore).

What's up with these double posts today? Anyway...

It seems to be Euphoriffith you've missed off! Quite ironic after he went to the trouble of commenting on every single song in his votes :P

Sandeborg are also there despite not qualifying and Mdice aren't there

Well done on a great debut! Big fan of the track as you can see :D

James Bay entered into BJSC 66

The gorgeous Tontario remix of James Bay's song "Hear Your Heart" was Adonia's latest entry into the BJSC. Despite receiving some lukewarm reactions, we are still remaining positive and looking up to a possible qualification. - CNN ADONIA

URBAN CONTACT ENTERED IN BJSC 67

BJSC fans across Adonia rejoice as an excellent new entry (and #3 Adonia chart hit [with actual longevity!]) emerges for BJSC 67. Rallies and parades are currently being held in honor of the new tournament, and Urban Contact is confirmed to perform at City Hall Plaza tomorrow, which already has 20,000 RSVP's on Facebook! It'll be a big event, we'll say! The latest Adonia polls put the new entry in the Top 10 but considering they are all extremely biased we are all holding on hope that we will qualify. - CNN ADONIA

Does this song sample MGMT? The dubsteppy parts remind me of one of their songs ('Kids' I think).

Really liking it anyway. <3 All of your entries have been fab so far.

I can definitely hear the similarities (I coincendetally listened to that song earlier today), but considering it's not documented anywhere online I think it would be more of a case of being 'inspired' instead of sampled. Happy to hear you enjoy my entries so far!

'Say My Name' qualifies in BJSC 68

Our latest entry, ODESZA's 'Say My Name', breaks our DNQ streak and qualifies. Due to fear of us not qualifying this contest mass hysteria broke out in our capital but thankfully it didn't last long as the votes were announced shortly after the riots began.

Thanks to all the voters! I'm still judging the lack of comments on this thread though ~ I know the OP is a mess but it'll be fixed. Eventually.

i really like this (hence my creating of a thread in indie)

good luck
