Under 1.5 goals in the Argentina/Iran match at 4/1 could be a good bet if Iran continue their impressive defensive record that they've had throughout the Asian qualifying process and into their first match at the World Cup. Obviously Argentina will be their toughest opponent yet but I was very impressed with Iran's defensive display in their first match and I could see them holding Argentina to a 1-0 defeat or even another 0-0 draw.

Nigeria were incredibly poor against Iran - I think players like Messi will have fun against Iran. I can't see Argentina not scoring more than three goals.

Germany -1 [4/5]

Oooh GOOD SHOUT LOVE. My bank's £60 at the moment and I've been looking for a steal and THIS COULD BE IT

Gone for a Gyan/Messi/Dzeko AGS treble so far.

Argentina will be playing 4-3-3, so expect the game could be a bit of a goal fest. Reckon Argentina might concede.

Based on that first half it looks like I should've put some money on this, Iran defending very solidly so far! If Argentina do get a goal though I can see them winning comfortably but while it is 0-0 you never know.

I placed a multibet on Argentina, Germany and Bosnia winning.

I'm about to lose all the money I made of France and Ecuador winning again

Sorry to everyone that backed Germany on a handicap result, that result was a real coupon buster!

Come on Dzeko....

Basically every bet I've made this World Cup (pretty much all on the result) has gone another way, often at the last moment (damn you Messi); as per my usual luck with bets such that I'm sure things conspire against me that way. Only thing I've called right so far has been Chile beating Spain, fortunately I did put enough on that to keep me in the green so far for this tournament.

Counting on Costa Rica beating us now.

I've lumped on Belgium tomorrow at slightly under evens.

I'm thinking of lumping money on Belgium - I can see them winning 1-0 tbf. Roo, how much are you getting back if Dzeko scores :o ?

Not that much, nice bit of profit, but will mean I've built enough to start lumping on games, and not be worried that much if they lose.

ffs you useless referee!!!!

Oh dear :( Not that the referee can be blamed. The assistant got it wrong.

Bad call, be a bit gutting if he doesn't end up scoring.

Might stick something on Bosnia to win in-play now they're 1-0 down. Probably wait until the price drifts a bit though.

Only bet I've made is a fiver on Benzema being top scorer. Would win me £130, been a bit of a mixed bag so far!
Proper annoying that. Ah well, was only a small bet, just quite a big price. Thought Gyan would be the one who let me down, not Dzeko!
