Massive result for West Brom.

I can't see Crystal Palace or West Brom being relegated this season. I think Pulis and Pardew are too experienced and good enough managers to ensure that both teams survive in the league. It would be interesting to see where both teams would be had the not made awful management choices at the start of the season.

I'm still thinking that Leicester, QPR and Aston Villa will be relegated this season. I used to follow and support Aston Villa but Lambert has not progressed the club and the longer he's in the charge the more that the team will always be fighting for a position of 15th.

Newcastle United has confirmed that John Carver will remain as head coach until the end of the season.

Not quite justice for last night - but glad to see Diego Costa has been charged with violent conduct. 3 match ban certainly awaits.

The BBC have renewed their deal to show Premier League highlights on Match of The Day until the 2018/19 season.

There'll be a new midweek programme on BBC2 on Wednesday nights.

Great news that this iconic brand will remain on our screens for another few years.

Costa banned for three matches and is missing the Manchester City game.

DISGRACE.

If they are banning him it should be in cup competitions rather than the premier league.

Not really mate. They're all League competitions, if you ask me he got off lightly. Should have been banned for double that. His own fault for being such a twat, anyone that says he didn't mean to do it is just plain stupid. That's like me pretending Suarez didn't bite Ivanovic

I got Chelsea tickets v Burley the game he returns so i'm feeling a lot better.

In his defense he was always looking at the ball and not player when it happened. I love having a player like Costa though, he's 100% like Suarez. He's without shadow of doubt the best striker in the league. I can't believe Chelsea have a successful striker.

He's gonna be a major miss vs City though.

What about Drogba?

He wasn't looking at the player but it's such a frickin lame excuse. When you elbow someone you can't see them either, doesn't stop it from being unintentional. If you watch the stamp he doesn't stumble or anything, he knows exactly what he was doing. He did stuff in the 1st leg too, plus the stamp on Skrtel was also bad. It's embarrassing the lengths Chelsea are going to. At least with Suarez (bar the Evra case), Liverpool and the majority of supporters admitted Suarez was in the wrong. The passion and aggression is great, but both players just lose it.

Villa are 100% going down.

Good, absolutely pathetic team. Sanchez for Villa has to be the worst player in the Premier League.

Lambert needs to get sacked, it's scary to think how they've came from a team fighting for top 4 to a team that is just awful. I wouldn't even say Lambert has made any significant signings minus wasting 24 million on Darren Bent.

Poor Delph.

Not helped by the fact that Randy Lerner won't put any money in to the club. But what Villa were doing under Martin O'Neill was not viable, they overspent massively and payed high wages to lots of average players.

I hope they go down.

They've been narrowly avoiding relegation since 2011 now, still don't think they'll drop though. They have an annoying habit of winning when they absolutely have to.

Not so sure. Gil looks a decent player, but they're lucky really that Burnley/Hull haven't really bought anyone of note. Not quite sure Benteke is going to hit form, and they looked atrocious today. Can count themselves lucky that everyone around them bar Sunderland/Everton lost.

I was going to suggest that Redknapp was angered at not getting any new players but, apparently, he needs to take a few weeks out for a knee operation.

Les Ferdinand and Chris Ramsey will be taking temporary charge following Redknapp resigning.

Could this is the end of football management for Harry Redknapp possibly?
