Might not be Tottenham, they've dug out a lot of wins this season! Could well be Man United, hope its not Southampton. West Ham have no chance.

Two games tomorrow; I'm off to Upton Park for West Ham vs Hull, but the big game is Man City v Arsenal. Most people would predict a home win, but, in Sanchez, Arsenal have the "player of the moment". Ozil is back now too, but Arsenal are notoriously weak away from home at the big teams.

Tottenham are not winning convincingly. Fighting in 4 competitions, probably the smallest squad. Not convinced they have enough goals in them either. Going to be ridiculously close either way between the 5 teams. Southampton have a nice run coming up on paper, could mean they break away.

City home win for me tomorrow. Might be tempting fate here, but fairly sure Sanchez has not shown up in any of the big games this season iirc? Think City will mark him out of the game.

Bit of a shock today then - sounds like Arsenal fully merited the win so good on them.

Looks bleak for Hull though. They actually played well in the first half (there were plenty of boos from the West Ham fans around me) but as soon as they conceded, they fell apart. Really need a goalscorer or else they're doomed I reckon.

Bit unlucky Jelavic is out injured for them.

But they look like a team that's going down. Just fell apart and gifted West Ham chances. Shame as if they had taken their chances they would probably have not lost that match.

I'm sure Steve Bruce will be sacked within the next month if things are not sorted out.

I've just seen the highlights on MOTD2 and that's all I have to go on. They way Hull fell apart after going behind certainly made them look like a team destined to go down. They really need to win a game to restore confidence. It doesn't matter how they get it - it could be a late 1-0 win after being outplayed - but they have to get a win very soon.

Confidence has gone, and to make matters worse I don't think they've hit any sort of form since the beginning of the season. Not over yet, as there's a long way to go yet, but they need to try and string 3 positive results together, and quickly. They're fairly lucky that all of the others teams fighting relegation also lost over the weekend, and they would be hoping for West Brom not to win tomorrow.

Amazing what Pardew is doing for Crystal Palace. I thought they were certs to go down about 6 weeks ago.

As a Brighton fan, that's what I was hoping for

Harry Redknapp set to stay as QPR manager as confirmed by owner Tony Fernandes:

I thought it was time to end all the speculation, so everyone can focus on the challenge ahead.

I firmly believe Harry is the best man to get us out of the position we currently find ourselves in.

Next Premier League manager to be sacked:

Odds with William Hill

Harry Redknapp 1-1f

Steve Bruce 7-2

Paul Lambert 10-3

Gus Poyet 14-1

Nigel Pearson 14-1

No manager to leave 20-1

Sean Dyche 25-1

Brendan Rodgers 25-1

Garry Monk 33-1

Ronald Koeman 40-1

Not sure I agree that Spurs have a small squad - they've got a lot of decent players (particularly midfielders) who aren't playing much because Pochettino has just about settled on a first XI. They won't be going at full tilt in three of their four competitions (unlike Everton, the Europa League isn't their only way back into Europe) and they'll be able to rotate enough so Lloris, Vertonghen, Fazio, Eriksen, Chadli and Kane are available for all their big games barring injury.

I'm expecting Arsenal to spend money this month and Wenger finally looks like he might be prepared to be pragmatic enough to play reactively away from home against their direct competitors. I'd make them favourites for one of the two CL spots.

Can't see Bruce and Lambert being sacked actually - there's external circumstances out of the managers control that are obviously affecting their clubs.
Anyone that thinks Everton are too good to go down need their heads testing. They don't have the bottle if they get sucked in to it - tonight showed it.

They are too good to go down! Pragmatically, there are three worse teams than Everton, even right now (Leicester, Villa, QPR, Sunderland, Hull).

West Brom looked like they came for a point and got it. Everton dominated, but didn't really look like scoring.

They have better players, but they don't have the bottle for it whereas the others do. Look at the carnage when Mirallas took the penalty. Baines has an excellent record, yet not one player bar Naismith stood up to Mirallas. Loads of rumours flying around that Eto'o massively upset the dressing room, hence his abrupt imminent departure, and I think there's a fair amount of truth to it. They're in awful form.

Yeah, Eto'o used to do that all the time for Cameroon  Wouldn't be surprised if he's had that impact at Everton too and I was also surprised that Baines didn't take the penalty actually - he's normally pretty good.

Could see them slipping down the table, then putting a run of results together in March/April. Overtones of Newcastle in 2012/13 (5th the previous year, Europa League taking its toll, massively underachieving etc).

Rumours were that he told Barkley, Lukaku & Coleman that they should leave at the first opportunity haha. He has a fair point, but neither have been in any form this year. I just think their squad is too poor, they didn't strengthen in the summer at all, they just secured what they already had. Plus I think Martinez really can't organise a defence. Last season I think the team were just defending how Moyes used to drill them. Don't get me wrong I don't think they will go down, but if they don't stop the rot soon, and they dragged in to it, I think they could really struggle.
