We have Millwall away and Reading at home left, I can see us winning the latter but definitely not the former. I can see us missing out, which probably wouldn't be too big a deal considering I can't see us beating anyone in the play-offs at the moment. The only wins we've had recently are Wigan and Blackpool - the bottom 2!

Reading will have less to play for than Millwall though, especially if they get through to the Cup Final  Bewildering collapse for Derby though, thought they were nailed on certainties during the winter.

Yeah as I said that's why I think Reading will be the winnable one out of the two, plus the fact it's at home. It's been a dramatic collapse since February, I expected a bad run to come at some point but only for 3 or 4 games - not 8 games! It has coincided with a crazy amount of injuries, but also with the constant McLaren to Newcastle link. I guess a mixture of the two could be the reason.

I should complain on here more often, Derby are somehow back to 3-3 against Huddersfield!

And now losing 4-3, incredible game!

Huddersfield just scored to make it 5-4 but had it disallowed. That's their third disallowed goal this match, Derby really riding our luck!

Oops just realised how many posts in a row I've made! :heehee:

Anyway finished 4-4, what a game! There were only 11 shots on target in the whole match. Sums up our season and the Championship perfectly - absolutely crazy!

Gutted Bournemouth conceded in the last minute, but happy they are still top two. This is all going to go down to the final day of the season then.

How many games left?

The thing is Bournmouth have winnable games (apparently) so bit annoying they couldn't win!

Most teams have two games left. If Bournemouth win them both, they go up (unless Middlesbrough somehow win their remaining two games by a margin of 15 goals more than Bournemouth). Both Bournemouth's games are against teams with nothing to play for. Of course, Sheff Wed also had nothing to play for and that didn't work out terribly well.

Bournemouth's next game isn't until Monday 27th (home to Bolton). If other results go their way, they can clinch promotion (subject to the Middlesbrough caveat) with a win. It would be great to see them do it in front of their own supporters - or, at least, those who can fit into the ground. No doubt pubs showing the match will be rather busy, even if they can't win promotion on the night.
Praying that Derby managed to get promoted.

Good lord you seem to love the teams I hate and hate my team (Sunderland)

I'm supporting Derby for the reason that Dundee United will get 250,000 :kink:

Watford are promoted. Bournemouth will join them if they win on Monday night after Middlesbrough and Norwich only got a point between them.

Derby really producing the thrillers at the moment, a 3-3 draw today after 4-4 last week! Somehow we are unbeaten in six games, no idea how as it feels like our form is terrible. We only need a draw next week now to secure that final play-off spot.

Really hope Bournemouth join Watford in the top 2!

Six years ago today, Bournemouth beat Grimsby to stay in the Football League, having started the season on minus 17 points. What a turnaround :magic:
