YouTube videos just don't show when linked in topics, there is just a big white gap instead.

There's probably a really obvious solution but I can't seem to get them to work.

You only need the video ID within the tags. The embed system can't find the video.

 

Just get rid of the 'https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=' bit and leave the combination of letters and numbers and it'll work.

They just don't show up on iOS mostly it seems, they rarely work for me on my ipad! You just have to do what Iz posted, it's what I've gotten used to :P

Also that. Part of the reason I don't often browse on my iPad is that there's a coin flip of a chance of it showing up for me even when the code is done right.

Ah so it's not just me then!
