14. The Saturdays - 30 Days

At my lucky number 14 we have '30 Days'. The midweek number 2 '30 Days' was introduced as a single on BBC Radio 1 and somehow managed to peak at #18 on the airplay chart despite no airplay from Capital FM before tumbling down the charts to #73 the following week on the airplay. '30 Days' was an inoffensive pop song and managed to gather another top 10 from The Saturdays.

When I head 30 Days I think 'awh, it's not too bad!' But then I never have the urge to listen again.

Damn I wish that I could resist you: Cameron, Rob Summers, Ultraviolance and Daniella.

Me and this song we have issues: SilverRocket, Regina and Lovekiller.

 

Another track from 'Chasing Lights' drops out meaning 'Up' and 'Work' are remaining tracks left. I'm surprised that 'Issues' is disliked by the majority on here. It was a massive smash from their first album and became one of their biggest airplay hits. 'Issues' manages to drop out before their other ballad ' My Heart Takes Over' which has surprised me. I felt 'Issues' was a certain top 10 in The Saturdays rate. Issues is not their fifth worst single, surely not?

 

30 Days was 12 copies of #1 in Scotland. BOOOO!

Issues is a nice but bland ballad. Hasn't aged very well but I much prefer it to MHTO.

If only they stayed in HMV for an extra 20 minutes for CD Sales. '30 Days' managed to generate around 2,000 sales I believe in Glasgow which is actually more effective than promoting on Daybreak.

People just can't deal with the ICONIC stabbing lyric.

 

Since 2012, when I first joined, I have never EVER heard any kinda hate for 'Issues' than the hate it has gotten recently.

I'm just glad it hasn't come last! :lol: Quite a bit of hate shown towards poor 'Issues' recently. :(
