Well, it's not shit for starters. :kink:

I see Lee. i SEE.

Notorious and Missing You are both good songs but I don't know HOW on any planet you can call a song that has sold more, has had more airplay and charted better "shit" to a song that is lesser on all?

Yes because sales equate quality.

And regardless it's all subjective anyway..

Happy is one of the biggest songs of the decade/century, does that make it the best song to be released?

It's all down to personal taste and for me Notorious may be aclaimed, but it's still a bit nothingy and is in their bottom 5 releases

Yes because sales equate quality.

Exactly?

And, if anything, for a song that was #1 two weeks on airplay and has huge loads more of promo, 'Missing You' didn't sell that much more from 'Notorious' (#29 peak on radios I think?), not that sales are any indicator of the quality of a song anyway. -_-

This is getting ridiculous. If people don't get the banter/sarcasm about 'Missing You', well I'm sorry, but I won't stop. It's fine if you think 'Missing You' is a good song and is better than 'Notorious', I respect that (because you know the whole thing is actually a joke/banter, but you don't seem to get it...), but to say it's better because it sold more is just really ridiculous. Just say you think it's better, it's fine if you do (and well it's fine too if you don't think that's the case, like me).

Notorious is an alright song, but definitely in their bottom 5 singles for me. The lyrics are a bit of a cringe.
"Closer baby look in my eyes, do you recognize me?"

- Easily one of their best lines.

It's their best hook ever!

Some wise words breakaway!

I'm really hoping 'Disco Love' doesn't come next or I'll cry (or cut a bitch*).

*I'll probably just cut Lee :kink:

So the remaining tracks are:

Disco Love

What About Us

Not Giving Up

Up

All Fired Up

Higher

Ego

07. The Saturdays - Up
Average Rating: 8.4

'Up' manages to exceed expectations within the single rate as it finishes at #07 1 point ahead of #08 and 3 points ahead of #06. Funnily enough it was the last four rates which helped 'Up' finish 7th. 'Up' successfully managed to ensure The Saturdays were a force to be reckoned with as it became their most successful single which was replaced by 'Ego'. 'Up' peaked at #03 on iTunes and was close to going #01 on iTunes with limited radio and television airplay.

My boyfriend is Italian and had not heard of the Saturdays before getting with me, he heard me play What About Us, Ego and Not Giving Up at times when we had parties or something, but once Up came on and he loves it now! I played him Higher too, he likes it a lot too, his favourite is Up, so I am happy it finished top 10 atleast because seeing his reaction to the song reminds me of mine when I first heard it.

This will be completed by 19:30 tonight.

6th will be out at 6pm.

WOULD BE IDEAL 1. All Fired Up | 2. Disco Love | 3. Not Giving Up | 4. What About Us | 5. Higher | 6. Ego

As much as I adore Ego, that'd be perfect.

Up should be higher. My favourite out of the one's remaining. EGO FOR THE WIN [it's my favourite remaining and it's like my 6th favourite Saturdays song]

Still can't believe not giving up is not out

Surprised at Up not being Top 5! What About Us for the win plz ~

If you were on buzzjack when Chasing The Saturdays was aired you would see how much Not Giving Up is loved on here

It actually reached #2 on iTunes! It peaked at #3 in the download chart.

Its official position of #5 was only because both Leon Jackson & Geraldine McQueen (lol) sold many more physical copies.
