Walking Through the Desert
could
have gotten them a playlist on Radio 1.... possibly.

My friends who are casual (barely, tbh) fans have always hated 'What Are You Waiting For', it's far too agressive for them and music taste (they didn't really like 'All Fired Up' either, so they aren't exacly representative of the public or fanbase). I've seen some of them dance along to '808' and 'Walking Through the Desert', but I'm not saying these two songs would have charted higher or are better or anything. What am I saying is that these two seem to be far more accessible, especially 'Walking Through the Desert'.

'What Are You Waiting For' has passed the test of the pool party this summer for me though, so there's that.

Radio 1 don't playlist anything by an artist if they stop playlisting them though, so nothing could've gotten them on that playlist.

Indeed, they make out it's not done on an artist-by-artist basis and insist it's track-by-track but it evidently isn't. Only Pitbull seems to get on/off support, it's one or the other for most other artists. Sadly it's 'off' for The Saturdays :(

Yeah they were quite obviously commercially doomed after Not Giving Up didn't make the playlist. As much as I love NGU, they should have either not released it, or released it straight off the back of Disco Love in January instead of April, when the album's floppage was slightly less evident.

Unfortunately, they're lack of radio support and the inclusion of streaming the girls have absolutely no chance of a top 20 hit now. Their only chance is if they release a rapper rented song and get decent Kiss and Capital support.

Sigma feat. The Saturdays tbh *_*

I think this is the best idea to do, feature on a song by an act thats more popular than them. Get their names out again, but I doubt they're in high demand to feature on anyones song unfortunately

They Should re-release 'Wildfire' but get Calvin Harris to re-record the Wildfire Vocal bit (since it sounds like him) and so something with the track, Like DJ Fresh did with Ellie's song.

Calvin Harris & The Saturdays - Wildfire

happen please.

I doubt anyone would touch The Saturdays' feature wise tbh.

They're like the Alexandra Burke of 2014

I don't think WTTD would have gotten playlisted by radio one. Lay Me Down has a similar vibe and sound and that wasn't playlisted either :(
The Saturdays wouldn't ever get Calvin Harris. It would need to be someone relatively low cost who's music is played by radios. Professor Green, Tinie Tempah or Jason Derulo?
