Maybe they've deliberately left the stronger single choice for Q4 / his X Factor performance in order to shift more albums then considering he'll still have a lot of momentum for the next couple of months anyway.

July 24, 201410 yr I'm really starting to like this. Wasn't sure at first (like I have been with most of his singles really) but it's a definite grower. It's already appeared in the Top 100 through album sales so I think this has the potential to do well which doesn't happen very often with post-album singles. August 1, 201410 yr Not keen on this choice, actually thought it was one of the weakest songs on the album
August 2, 201410 yr Thought they would've chosen one of the faster tracks as single #3 actually, "Life Support" is one of my favourites. Regardless, I'm hoping the track can do well. The superb video should certainly help with the cause, and R1 are sure to support.
August 2, 201410 yr I love the video! The song has grown on me since after a montage of the Commonwealth Games with this as the sound-bed shown tonight. A much better ballad than "Stay With Me" which is far too screechy, I'm not sure whether I prefer it to "Money On My Mind" just yet but it's a step in the right direction.
August 3, 201410 yr After despising 'Money On My Mind', i have grown to really appreciate him now. The album is wonderful and this is one of the highlights. 'Leave Your Lover' however is one of the most beautiful songs i've heard in ages, and i'm gutted he's not gone for that. I only hope he's saving it for a big winter release, because it needs to be heard.

September 16, 201410 yr Love this song (original not superfluous remix). Easily his best solo single to date. Also just heard Replay off the album, loving that too. Quite the groove.
