I cannot wait to be quite frank. She is fast becoming my favourite artist of the decade thus far.

If people think it still belongs in the Alternative forum then move it there, but I see no reason why.

this new era hasn't been dance (and i DOUBT an ed sheeran credit will change that), so if anywhere i'd say R&B. i will be moving to alternative for consistency though.

I looked on Wikipedia and it gave me more of a pop vibe. And her work typically has elements of electro in it.

But yes, let's not detract. A new Jessie Ware song will have gone through my ears in 24 HOURS

How Tough Love didn't make Top 30 I don't know. I'll make more of an effort to stream this time.

See people, I'm not negative, I just have REFINED TASTES

Love it. You can definitely hear Ed's influence.

Beautiful. So happy she'll probably get her first hit with this.
Although it's not really the sort of thing I like, I'm really enjoying it. The chorus is wonderful.

It was co-written by Ed Sheeran. It might be why.

Still, STILL EXCEPTIONAL *.*

Sounds a bit too much like an Ed Sheeran song which is not what I want from Jessie. It is a really, really lovely song though and is already growing on me lots during the first listen, especially that build up at the end! Sounds like it has potential to be her biggest hit!
really upset at how much i'm not 'getting' this new era. obviously both singles so far are decent but she is so capable, so i don't know why i'm settling for that opinion :(

i'm not feeling this new era at all, if it were anyone else we would be verging on defining it as MoR. Jessie set herself up so well following her debut with such lush sonics but she seems intent on singing about love in a variety of different slow forms and that to me almost teeters on the verge of self-indulgence.

We shall see tho

love how this tune was co-written by Ed Sheeran. Two genuinely class artists collaborating to make a great tune! Wouldl ove to see both of them live
Here come the JESSIE WARE TROLLS

This is gorgeous and more importantly sounds like a proper hit. I really hope it gets the required radio support to fulfil its potential and manages to set the album release up nicely.

Like others have said, an out-and-out Ed Sheeran song isn't the kind of thing I want from her ideally (no disrespect to him as I'm a fan) but I'm fully behind her 'selling out' with this particular song. Subtlety is her biggest strength but lead singles, especially those for second albums, need to be instant and command attention.

The song's actually quite reminiscent of 'Stay With Me', particularly with the soul choir-esque vocals towards the end, so here's hoping it connects with the public in a similar way (but undoubtedly to a lesser degree).
