September 8, 200618 yr just been confirmed the kapooka hot on the box that is IS the next single!!!! :D :D
September 8, 200618 yr I am very excited that La Tortura is getting a UK release as it is my favourite shakira single, it does take a few listens to start to like as it isn't in english but it is by far her best sinlge..hopefully radio/tv will pick it up and she will hopefully come over and do as much promo as she can... i just can't see the scruffy chavs liking it..it's too cultural. It should go to number 1 as it is her best but i'm hoping for top 5...it must be top 10 at least.. surely shakira fans can grant it that place? If it flops it shouldn't damage her career here as it is a risk.. i just hope that it can chart well
September 8, 200618 yr If this could do well I'd be so happy, not just for Shakira but because the Uk would FINALLY be embracing freign language music  This is one of my Shaki favs :D
September 8, 200618 yr its time the UK got to hear her spanish material and to embrace it like the rest of the world! la tortura is coming...
September 8, 200618 yr Let's hope La Tortura can come and chart well... daddy yankee??? did wellish but the last spanish song to be released over here by junes - camise negra? that was great and charted low.
September 8, 200618 yr but juanes had no airplay and little tv play. and he didnt promote himself either in the uk. and he's never had a massive english-speaking career before his spanish song like shakira. i like spanish music, but i honestly think it is a rubbish song anyway. infact i cant stand his voice. September 8, 200618 yr i think its getting its main play on the box really, ive seen it 3 times today on the box.
September 8, 200618 yr Author We'll probably have to wait untill next week untill it goes into higher rotation. Over the weekend the music channels usually show chart rundown etc of old songs or rock songs or 80's songs.
