It's a competition thread on a forum though - it's a big talking point for tv viewers across the UK this evening, I don't see how it's hilarious?

It does annoy me that it depends on the dance off some weeks tbh. It's not like it's the x-factor contestants have their weakness with dances and had Pixie done another dance it would have been a different result.
Just when people claim something is a fix when it clearly isn't and try to back it up with nonsensical assumptions.

I think you're pretty spot on here. On X-Factor, when you get a bad song and it puts you in the bottom 2, you actually have the chance to choose another song that could potentially be better and save you. On Strictly, if you get a shitty dance and find yourself in the bottom 2 because of it, you need to survive with that same shitty dance

I just hope Frankie doesn't have to be in any dance-off.

I just watched the results show and was gobsmacked that Pixie was sent home; she has been an absolute spectacle to watch, her Paso alone was magnificent (I'm not an expert/novice so I can't really comment on technicality). I feel terrible for her; I hope somewhere along the line she's able to spring back with some sort of musical success. :( I didn't even care for her as a contestant if I'm being honest but I feel empathy right now. It sucks that someone so consistent had to leave especially when you consider Simon's lackluster start.

I mean had Frankie been in the bottom over Pixie, she could've been eliminated herself which is a scary thought. I was praying she'd get through (and yes I voted 3 times ;) ). So ecstatic and I cannot wait for the semi-final now! :D

This wasn't the semi final !?

I thought Frankie was in the Finals already :(

I find it hilarious Pixie is still trending on Facebook and Twitter, such impact!

Just saw this on DigitalSpy...

"Every star taking part receives a standard £25,000 payment, but if they manage to stay on the dancefloor until the end of October this rises to £40,000 and jumps to £60,000 for anyone who makes it to the quarter finals.

The five celebs who reach the semis will pocket £75,000, with the winner walking away with £100,000 - and the glitterball trophy."

Frankie'll be raking it in! :D

She, Roch and Una can pay the next album now !!!!

Frankie's first dance is The American Smooth.

- Might be false, it's gone from wiki now.

This show doesn't half drag on, feels like Frankie's been on it since the start of her career.

Feel bad for Pixie Lott, always thought her music was quite good.

If you actually watch the show then I'd say it's gone past quite quickly.
