Radio 2 played Mama Do just now which is promising

The song is alright (6/10), she looks nice in the video but it's not a good choice (even if the campaign was going well).

It peaked at #536 on iTunes.

 

It's no longer in the top 1,500 but the album has rebounded to #350 on iTunes.

Is there any special reason as to why Break Up Song was played on BBC Radio One yesterday? :unsure:

It's cos they were doing this feature where they were talking to her mum on the phone - something to do with Strictly. It's actually not too bad a song.

I'm really starting to appreciate 'Break Up Song' much more now. I still think she should release 'Champion' and end the campaign there. It's such a shame that Pixie is just so incredibly irrelevant now. I'm rather happy that she flopped singing music that she adored (soul) rather than releasing generic pop over and over.

 

'Break Up Song' is #1498 on iTunes right now, highly doubtful it will even peak higher than what it did when the music video was released #524.

Maybe if she gets to the finale of SCD, she could perform it then or after she wins? Does this have an official release date?

If she wins Strictly she should be allowed to perform 'Champion' :D

Her expression on the cover makes me think she was smelling a fart when they were shooting her.
