on an off topic note did you hear Rae Morris sing with Clean Bandit and the BBC orchestra? She does have a nice voice on her

I did see that :wub: I hope she's huge soon, this gig is packed and the place is quite big so it bodes well! I always had a sneaking suspicion that she might become a star, even if that only stretches to a top 10 album a la Laura Mvula perhaps.

wouldn't be surprised if she was included in next year's Sound Of list tbh

Hopefully she's taking the Charli XCX slow route to success. Don't Go feels like a whole different time in my life it was so long ago! And she's still yet to 'get going' as it were!

Okay the final recap WAS up but it's now been removed due to copyright. Great. It uses exactly the same tracks as the semi recaps which weren't taken down so I'm not sure what SoundCloud's problem with this one is... :(

 

(I had even done all the tagging before I realised it had been taken down automatically lawl, such a waste of time)

 

EDIT: Tried again with a thing added at the start to try and throw it off which seemed to work but it still got taken down after about 10 minutes. Giving up for today. So frustrating.

I've borrowed a snippet of an obscure track to place at the start which Iz said worked for the TBO recaps so HOPEFULLY it should finally work this time. If it gets removed mid-tagging again I will literally cry.

 

I have however now used up the urls 'bjsc-lxviii-final' AND 'bjsc-lxviii-final-recap' as it won't let me remove those. Annoyin.

Recap attempt numero THREE now in the first post. It's survived long enough for me to finish tagging the songs. Hopefully that means it'll survive forever now.

just managed to finally listen to semi 1 - I was def in the wrong final again - 13 of my top 15 made the final, leaving poor Yehesi and Tartford as pointers who didn't quite make it (though they still wouldn't have made it). Half my semi 2 songs didn't make it, though at least being in semi 2 got Eledan through, so prob just as well.

 

voting is going to be difficult.

I think I was feeling in an indie mood when I voted last night! Surprised so much with my votes.

Voting now, there were 12 songs I'd have liked to have voted for but nothing is a HUGE loss. Some very good songs in my votes though :D
