Great review Sparkle. And great photos.

You'll come down from 'your high' about Thursday. ;)

Thanks for the reports Sparkle

Glad you had such a great time :D

Would you say it was better than the telivised Leeds gig?

other reviews make it sound like he was a lot more relaxed than at leeds

sparkle, thanks for your report and pics. Great to hear you had such an amazing time.

Should be interesting when Twinkle comes back... :D

Wonder if 'he' touched Twinky or if Twinky touched 'him'.... ( ie tried to maul him  ). She probably had him pulled half way over the barrier before 15 security men managed to set him free. :P

Thanks for the reports Sparkle

I would definately have to say it was better than the televised Leeds gig but thats only because I was there last night to see it live myself, and it was my first Robbie concert so it was going to be a winner for me right from the start. Having said that, if I was lucky enough to of been right at the front like ICR was during the Leeds one then I would of chose that one.

Well although i was at Dublin gig i knew the leeds gig was a million times better ^_^ How far were you away from the stage

And he did'nt do an encore :o

a review from BE - ladies and gentleman I give you the lovely BRY .....

so we parked miles away in a very very big field with the rest of Britain! When we got round to our queue, we queued at gate 4 and I abandoned my friends to run up to Gate 5 to wave at Tony, Twinkle, RMF and Mon at the front of the queue and then I got a mysterious message from Hanneke saying she was right behind me in the gate 4 queue with Aims and Tinkerbell. So again I left my poor unsuspecting friends and ran away to see more F Gangers. Hanneke and I had our pictures taken to get a sexy PINK lanyard for our phones... so if our picture is one of the top 100 to be featured on rw.com vote for us

Eventually after a few hours of eating, and reading my magazine they let us through the gates and it was time for the sprint (well, half hearted since we weren't going to be near the front anyway) and I bagged my friends a great spot exactly were Tony and the Girls were just on the other side of the barrier

So after some mad phone calls and lots of waving and Twink trying to give me a real knuffel over the fence we sat and waited... again! The nice security lady next to us told us that Orson weren't going to be on tonight and we waited a bit more. Eventually 6pm came and went and Chris Coco came on stage and jammed some music out to a very baffled audience!! Bless him - he was jamming away all by himself! He reminded me of the DJ off the Kevin and Perry movie

Then (after some more waiting) we had the Basement Jaxx who were very loud and infectious and mental! They are nuts! But their set was pretty good, although I'm not a big fan.

And then we waited again, but this time for the Man himself we started chanting ROB-BIE ROB-BIE and eventually with a massive firework and fire display he appeared from the stage and he just stood there looking smug (and very lickable ) and then he launched into a bouncy bouncy Radio. When the audience weren't singing he kept shouting Jumping, Thumping.... and making us scream back. Rob joked about how embarressing Wembley was and how it might be ready for Theo Walcott's testimony! RockDJ was awesome - everyone was shouting and bouncing along and Tripping was good too - although the crowd struggled to sing the falsetto chorus! Rob then told us we were a better crowd than last night ( ) who were like performing to a SAGA holiday camp and he felt like he was the phantom of the Opera!

Rob then told us that his gigs were 100 times better if you're pissed so feel free to pop into the Carlsberg tent and have a few beers. And have one for him because he felt like a relapse - which was met with a slightly mixed response but he was just jesting and having fun

I'm really sorry - I can't actually remember the order of the songs which is disgusting! But I'm sure he launched into brilliant versions of Millenium and Monsoon, although I think Millenium had a better response the night before (but it's hard to tell because I was in monkey class last night!) Rob then said how weird it was that there was an ice cream van at a rock gig! And how £4.50 for an ice cream was an absolute rip off! And that he hasn't lost touch with reality that much - but it was a nice refreshing change to a bottle of water.

We then got a Little Britain Medley of A Little Bit of Dust and I Don't Like It!! And then he told us his set was very big because he's planning on getting very fat! And he blamed Germany's lovely sausages and potatoes!!

We then all sang along to Make me pure which was really stunning and gorgeous and made the hairs on your neck stand up! He made us shout the lyrics and yodel them and things!

Then it was time for "Who need's Elton John when You've got Jonny Wilkes" Jonny Wilkes himself. Rob said he was the Ant to his Dec and he chanted who needs Elton John when you've got Jonny! This part of the show was very caberet but I loved it - and Rob called himself the c**k of the North after he fell over at Leeds! Jonny took some girls pink fluffy gloves from the front row and the two of them wore them and then Rob was rubbing his crotch with them and they sung bits of Staying Alive and had the football contest which Rob won again Me & My Shadow was brilliant - I love that song sooo much! And then they did all the audience participation and Thursday night I was on Jonny's side and last night I was on Rob's side and on Thursday Jonny lost it because Rob said really stupid stuff like fish and gravy and then last night Jonny made everyone shout dickhead and then Rob made us boo Jonny and then sung one note for at least a minute!! Strong was amazing - another song I was waiting to hear live. Rob shared a cigarette (bifter) with some Italian girls and he chatted to them for a while taking the mick out of their names! Advertising Space was met really well by the crowd who screamed the chorus back at him. Back for Good was in there somewhere too - although I prefered the punked up version, it was meaningful, but I missed Rob telling us about his song the 90s like he did on Thursday night - he read out the lyrics, but I suspect he might have got in trouble for it

Then for the encore Rob didn't change fully - he kept his nice jeans on and put his tracky top on. I missed Max Beesley's guest perfomance but LMEY and Rudebox were brilliant - although being in the IC is so much better because everyone knows the words to everything whereas noone around me knew Rudebox!

Then Rob told us that he knew what he was doing with his next album and we've been on the journey so far, we've just got to trust him. And he read in the papers about how they think his career is declining, but as he said he's sold 6.5 million copies of Intensive Care and over 3 million tickets to his tour - make up your own mind on whats happening to his career.

As Angels came around I felt like crying - it was all over until Tuesday for me, and as always Angels was stunning. And then Rob came to the front of the stage and said "he was f*cked, he's done over 40 shows and he's asked too much of himself as he's ill and exhausted and when this tour finishes he won't tour again for a long time - he will tour again, but he'll have a big break first. And that every night he says we were better than the night before, but tomorrow night he is going to say that we were sensational and they would have to work hard to beat us! And that it wasn't often he could go onstage and enjoy himself as much as we did, and he had a ball last night and it was gigs like last night that make him want to go back onstage tomorrow night

amazing, awesome...i've run out of words.

sorry if it doesn't make sense and i've missed stuff, but i'm really useless and i'm just counting down the hours til my next gig

No encore, I waited and waited  :(

I would say we were probably about the middle ish, is hard to say, we were near the bottom of the slope.

Could of got nearer but decided we had a better view where we were. Very hard to bounce on a slope though :P I nearly lost my step a few times and I hadn't even drunk that much

Just thought i'd post my pix ^_^
