STUFF YOU ROBBIE!

We'll beat you to No 1 spot, say Take That 'Robbie has been gloating about his success for years but now that is all about to end, it's war'

TAKE THAT are set to renew their battle with ROBBIE WILLIAMS - by releasing a Christmas single in the same week.

They believe they can say "stuff you" to their ex-band mate by beating him to the No 1 spot - and making his effort seem like a turkey.

One insider told ViP: "Robbie has been gloating about his success for years but that is all about to end.

The decision to go up against him wasn't taken lightly and they are ready for war.

"Things were just starting to get better between them but this will really put the cat among the pigeons."

GARY BARLOW, 35, MARK OWEN, 34, JASON ORANGE, 36, and 38-year-old HOWARD DONALD have born the brunt of Robbie's criticism ever since he quit Take That.

Robbie, 32, also refused to join the band on stage earlier this year when during the sell-out reuinion tour.

The singer has experimented with a new electro funk sound for his latest album Rudebox 74 - released on October 16.

But his debut single from the album - also called Rudebox - has been beaten to the No 1 spot by the SCISSOR SISTERS.

And it's unlikely his next offering will do any better.

Meanwhile Take That are confident they can out-sell Robbie with a catchy new ballad Patience - to be released in the run-up to Christmas.

Our source added: "Robbie's new sound has put a lot of the fans off. "Take That were really well received when they toured earlier this year and they still have a strong fan base. Robbie did invite the other lads to perform Back For Good with him at his concert in Milton Keynes next week.

"But it doesn't look like they will be joining him now!" When Robbie quit the band in 1996 he launched a string of attacks on his former pals - especially Gary.

He branded him "clueless" and poked fun at his weight saying: "I like Gary Barlow, but I couldn't eat a whole one." Earlier this year he made a half-hearted attempt to say sorry by telling him: "You're an amazing songwriter...

You have an amazing voice."

Who do you hope will win the battle?

Good god. The press truely are pathetic

I mean TT and Robbie are NOT at war  They met up a couple months back are got along great. The press are just $h!t stirring -_-

I have no doubt TT will chart hight  It is their first single in over 10 years for god sake <_<

I don't think either will be #1 in all honesty.

Take That have a better chance though. Robbie's album will have been out for ages by the time Christmas comes.

The XFactor winner only needs to release the usual mediocre load of tosh that is the winners song, and Robbie & Take That won't get a look in anyway

No one stand a chance for the no.1 in xmas. hahahaha

This article was written to promote both singers and to make the sales of their singles higher. Anyway Westlife with brand new single "Honey" will be this year's No.1

I HIGHLY doubt it.

Robbie won't be xmas #1 anyway - his second single from the past two albums haven't fared that well because the albums sell so well.

Personally if its true - I'd rather the Crazy Frog came back than allow Take That to be #1.

TT won't be X-Mas #1 but i am almost positive they will be #1. I mean it's their first single in a decade and they still have a HUGE fanbace far greater than Westlife do.

TT were a proper boy band. They may have been manafactured to begin with but they wrote their own songs (well Barlow anyway) unlike Westlife :puke2:

Charis why do u have to mention feffin Westlife all the time. Let me guess 'Honey' is another cover. Who'd ave though.

I think Take That would win this battle, but neither will be number one. That will go to X Factor Winner.

Ok now who will have the most chances of getting to no.1 in xmas or the week before xmas?

Westlife

Take That

Robbie Williams

in your dreams

Oh please Charis. Westlife are and never have been anywhere near as big as TT were in back in their day. Just before they broke up TT were MASSIVE all over thw world and were about to crack america. Westlife are so bloody boring and just sit on stools. TT were entertaining and has some pretty decent pop songs which were wrote by them unlike Westlife. :)

Believe me, TT's comback single will sell 10 times wheat the pathatic Westlife c**p will sell. Which let me guess, will be another bland cover

None of them are going to be #1 ESPECIALLY Westlife -_-

sorry to ask but. sitting on stools means sitting on chair while singing? cause i am a cypriot you know.

None of them are going to be #1 ESPECIALLY Westlife -_-
