Will chart well, but is another dull ballad we could do without! Capitalising on Q4 sales imo

What? Have you actually listened to it at all? It's about as far from a ballad as you can get.

Number 1 for both for me. I love it.

I think it's like most of Cheryl's singles - it's a grower so I'm pretty sure with an X Factor performance it should make :no1:
Possibly but not necessarily. The song has existed since August 20th at least, that's when Cheryl first mentioned the title, so the label could have provided the instrumental a while before now, requesting it be included during Cheryl's first episode shown after the song premiered.

Depends what you mean by "playing in the background" anyway - unless somebody was actually playing it on a radio or something (which seems very unlikely), the music would only be dubbed on in the edit, which would be finalised much closer to transmission, possibly even as late as the day before.

time to bring back this thread now that #1 isn't looking like a certainty for her. I think Ed Sheeran could hold her off actually, the pre-order isn't exactly setting the iTunes chart alight like Crazy Stupid Love did. (currently #167)
Ed is heading for number 1 this week purely because there is no competition. He probably won't even hit 85k+ this week. With the X Factor performance ready, she's got this, in my opinion.

I seriously think this won't sell more than 70k and with the minimum streaming this will get I can see both, Ed and Meghan ahead of her.

I think this will still be #1 quite easily just because it's Cheryl but I also think people are underestimating Ed's likely sales this week, the song more than doubled its popularity relative to Meghan after the XF performance and it did over 50k last week so I think he'll do at least 90k this week if not 100k+.
I agree with the masses that Cheryl has a nice chance of getting that #1 with the X Factor boost unless Ed gets some massive promo in next week. Personally, I want to see a follow-up single of hers reach #1 after "3 Words" failed to do so.
I think Ed has a good chance of holding on to the #1 and holding off Cheryl if his Airplay continues to rise for the track.
I'm hoping for a #1 but I'm not convinced. It would be just Cheryl's luck for Rihanna to drop a new single in the middle of the week. #WeFoundLoveSyndome

Then again, the last time she released against Rihanna Cheryl managed to make it with that single (which was very unfortunate).
