November 26, 201410 yr Galvanise is  . Amazing song, I actually thought they were a rap duo at the time as it was the first song of theirs I had heard of  but yeah it's definitely be one of the best songs of 2005 (if not the best, I haven't actually compiled a list :P) Jesus of Suburbia is great too, I'm not really into rock but Green Day do have some great songs in their collection so WD them

The Prodigy - Voodoo People (Pendulum Remix) BKXKWBcaV3A Peak: 20 Top 40 weeks: 2 Just outside the top 5 it's The Prodigy with sole release from their Greatest Hits compilation Their Law. This is reworked version of their original from 1994 by Australian band Pendulum and was released as a double A-Side (remember them?) alongside another remix, namely the phenomenal Out Of Space. This is a fantastic remix and I prefer it to the original, it's a bit more pacey and has a heavier beat and production which I felt suited the nature of the track. The main riff throughout the track is taken from Nirvana's Very Ape and it really throws the track right at you from the off, and this remix added a more drum and bass nature to an already solid foundation. I really like the build-up parts leading up to the chanted vocals followed by the breakdown where the signature sound of Pendulum really shines through. It's a very intense record and guarantees to bring a club to life. This was taken from one of my all-time favourite albums and to hear in the charts was simply incredible! Plus, my favourite ever band remixing a song by my 2nd favourite was always going to do well on this particular countdown :D
