Released as the lead single to the re-release of 'Sound Of The Underground' and for the film 'Love Actually', 'Jump' charted at a much better #2 ('Something New' charted here so it must be the position the best songs chart at. :) ) Here are the full results: 01. October 16, 201410 yr LOVE 'Jump'. I remember buying the single and playing it to death, such a vivacious and well produced cover version.
October 16, 201410 yr Perfect winner  Would have been happy with I'll Stand By You though, both are great songs and have many memories for me
October 16, 201410 yr Perfect winner indeed! Often cover singles are looked down on, but 'Jump' felt pretty edgy/cool for a cover, for 2003. Well it did to me anyway! I remember being SO annoying that Westlife's 'Mandy' beat them to the top spot. I do wonder whether 'Jump' would have been a #1 if it had been the Children In Need single for that year. Admittedly the connection to 'Love Actually' was quite a big deal, but then the track was left out of the film anyway...
