She was the standout performer on X Factor Australia this year but only came 4th, but just like last year the top 4 all get to release their singles - this is Reigan's which is the title track from her debut EP! I'm so excited for this, every week she was amazing and I really wanted her top 2 at least so we could get that album :kink: I'm glad we're getting an EP, I really hope it has Dog Days Are Over, Stay With Me and Uncondtionally on there especially (I assume it will be her original single and then a few XF covers).

 

It's sent to radio 20th November, with the EP up for pre-order (in the UK too!) with a release of 15th Dec. It's Dec 12 in Aus though yaassss.

 

And let's take a moment to appreciate one of her two Australian top 40 SMASHES as part of pop duo Scarlett Belle:

"All Of The Pieces" is not Reigan's X Factor winners single. It was registered on apra about 12 months ago.

Oh that's annoying, I assume she would have recorded one :( Maybe it'll be on the EP but I imagine it'll be the single and 4 XF covers!

Sounds very understated on first listen, but it can't help but think they've cut it off just as it builds. I reckon it'll come to an epic conclusion! This is different to what I expected too, I thought they'd go for the sound we heard from her audition and her performance Burn For You for some reason. But I can't wait to hers the full thing anyway, her voice is stunning <3

I listened to that clip yesterday and really liked it and definitely sounds like it is building up to something, reminds me a little bit of Ella's 'Glow' too which is only a fantastic thing!

Really looking forward to a full LP in 2015.

They all slay, I would have definitely chosen Unconditionally, Boys In Town, Burn For You, Creep, Chandelier or Only Love Can Hurt Like Tbis (particularly the former two) over Only Girl though.

 

Her best performances are definitely Stay With Me (one of my absolute favourite talent show performances ever), Dog Days, Unconditionally, Boys In Town and Chandelier imo. As well as her flawless sing-offs. All Of The Pieces is amazing as expected too <3

Would have also like a studio version of her version of Toxic.
