Posted September 11, 200618 yr Well, I don´t know if this question is pertinent, but does anyone actually knows what is time? I searched in the dictionary and stuff, and I only find they have definitions for weather, the passing of time, rhythm, etc, but not time itself. It´s a weird thing, because people never learned anywhere what is time, teachers in school don´t tell it, parents don´t tell that to children, and also is something you don´t capture with your senses (time is not dark or colourful, you can´t touch it, taste it, smell it or hear it), yet, everybody in the inside seems to know what it is. But does time really exist and how is it possible?
September 11, 200618 yr People probably just made it up in the early days, according to the sun etc... I really have no idea though, good question!
September 11, 200618 yr time exists, it is a dimension, but trying to understand it is near on impossible. time is an abstract concept.... (wheres that quote from???)
September 12, 200618 yr A nonspatial continuum in which events occur in apparently irreversible succession from the past through the present to the future. :P

Everyones time is not the same either. For one thing, the fast your travel the slower time goes, or is it the other way around. Anyway it's not the same!

September 12, 200618 yr Author Bizarrely, I was just watching a TV show which was talking about it, and aparently, if you have a twin brother, and he goes travel to the space at a very big speed, like 10% the speed of light, when he comes back he will still be young and you´ll be using geriatric underwear.
September 13, 200618 yr I always think time as in 3 elements, Past, Present & Future but once I read about time and all these courdinates (i think thats how u spell it_
September 14, 200618 yr Author But past doesn´t exist anymore, and future doesn´t exist yet, so time is basically a combination between the present, the memory of the past and the expectations of the future.
