Not a bad set of European dates and locations really, judging by the album sales so far. Hopefully this will spark interest in the record
I am hoping this goes well for them and at the least the tour sells well, if album sales benefit from it, it would be an extra bonus.
the critics I read from the German press about the tour are devastating

I don't understand how they can comment on a tour that hasn't taken place yet?

they comment on the popularity of TT as a three and a 4 piece and the likelihood to sell tickets. Twist it like you want, outside the UK and Ireland TT is not popular. This is less down to TT only, but to the dislike of boybands these days. Plus unfortunate for TT, this is Robbieland and Robbieland means without the others. If you are interested to read the articles via Google translator I can post the link. It will be very interesting how general sales will do. Maybe it is appreciated that they are a great live act

Oh I'm not trying to twist anything Elizabeth - I DETEST Gary Barlow so any bad news on the fame front for him is great news to me! It was just I thought you were talking of a criticism of a tour that hadn't taken place - when you were speaking of criticism in general.

I like TT as a 5 piece and I love the Circus, I am absolutely no friend of GB, but that is a personal taste.

What I say about TT and the tour is based on articles and observations and personal opinion. The ticket sales until now though proof the concerns right. Well, on the other hand, there are still 9 months to sell the tickets

You and Kath will get on well then Elisabeth!

The purpose of forums is for people to air opinions and I'll defend freedom speech to the very end. However, for the life of me I cannot understand why anyone would wish to access a forum to post continually negative and disparaging comments about people they clearly dislike . I wouldn't dream of gloating over any artists popularity or lack of ; surely it's better to support the artists you like and ignore the one's you don't?

Anyway if tickets sell badly that's Europe's loss as TT are one of the best live pop acts around at the moment and in my opinion the Circus tour was one of the best , if not the best pop show I've seen in the past 20 years.

I was once moderator of this forum. I think I have every right to come in here now and again and post what a gobshite Gary Barlow is!

I agree with the circus. I don't know how good a live act TTIII are. They have not proved it yet. And as I said, I like TT5, music of TT4, don't like this album, but despite GB not only because of the tax avoidance and his friendship to NMS. he is a great songwriter. but he is greedy and I dislike that his tours as a solo artist is 75 percent of TT ones. Imagine Robbie doing it.

And I am interested in them as Robbie is still part of tem.

I was there in Glasgow for the opening night last night. It was amazing!!!! Possible the best concert I've been to. The staging was excellent and the song list was great too. I got to see them perform Said It All which is one of my favs :)

Hi Rossco! Thanks for this!

I can't wait to go in June in London!! I love the way they open with I Like It!

Great set list!

What was your best part?

Staging does look exceptional although I hope the music doesn't get lost amongst all of the production. Gutted that Higher Than Higher isn't on the set list. It would have fitted better with the staging ( Flying Car ) than Portrait. Also a strange omission given that it's the next single? Surprised they left out Into The Wild and can't believe they included Affirmation.

I would have liked a few more ballads like Crack in my Heart instead of, for example, Relight My Fire. Glad Said It All made the list. Will be interesting to compare TT 4, TT 5 and now TT3.

Agreed! Higher than Higher as the flying song would of made sense. I don't really like Portrait on III, probably the only song I'd skip so will be interesting to see if it works with the car

Kath I've only just seen your response to a comment I posted quite some time ago.

I defended your right to post your views so please don't suggest otherwise. However I did challenge the mind set of people who constantly access sites to post negative comments about artists , and on that point I stand my ground.

The opening section was superb - the staging was incredible. I enjoyed the performance of Affirmation, These Days and Never Forget. Vocals were great too. I can't praise it enough tbh! Made me buy the album today which I'm loving.
