There are some rumours that German cinemas might broadcast the gig as well. WE'll know for sure next week. Which means there's still hope that they'll extend it in other cinemas as well.

More of us, Romanian fans, are trying to talk our big cinemas into buying the rights for the broadcasting of the tour. If we join numbers, maybe a miracle will happen :)

Oh, and I agree with you: I LOVE their ABBEY ROAD dvd and I wish they'd do the same with the newer songs.

How come there's choreography or lots of movement only on the songs Gary takes the lead on? Has anyone else noticed this?

When Mark sings Up All Night, Hold Up A Light and Shine or Howard Affirmation there's very little movement on stage - well, on Shine, Mark is wearing a cape, but that only makes movement more difficult.

I was just saying to my friends that Gary looks exhausted. He has to do everything the other 2 do + sing. He always gets the wrong end of the stick, poor guy :)

I cant wait for Friday night,im going to see them in Dublin.

I hope you had a great time! :) Looking forward to hear your view about the show.

So happy for you Pete! I know you've been wanting to see them live ever since we first started chatting here! They do put on a good show - even I have to admit that - despite what I think of their leader.

Initially a very long day, a very windy day in Dublin which made queuing to get in extremely long but it was worth the wait!! Dublin is a 4 hour train journey from where I am from but we had traveled the day before so luckily had no luggage to be lugging around!!

Ella Henderson was the support act who I do like and she played 7 or 8 songs, she has a fantastic live voice but I do have to say she has some work to do on her stage presence, she tried but it didn't work to well, but her songs were good and she seemed really really nice, I especially enjoyed Glow.

Take That came on at 8.30 to a packed arena and played for over 2 hours. At first I thought the stage was very small but they really worked the space they had and the walk way through the crowd was fantastic as it meant loads of people including myself got to see them very very close up which was great. I was surprised by how much older Mark looks in the flesh, we really thought he looks so much older than he does on tv, Gary and Howard look much younger. I loved their first address to the crowd, it was hello Dublin, they each introduced themselves, Gary was last and said im Gary Barlow and we are whats left of Take That.

The stage and set was so entertaining the whole way through, glitter, pyrotechnics, balloons, fireworks, dancers, bikes all in there and Take That kept moving around the different areas of the stage which was great as it was like yes another opportunity to see them up close, the dance moves were there, the bike that carries them around the arena was fantastic and the crowd loved it. The live vocals were brilliant but that was no surprise as love or hate Take That no one can deny they can deliver live fantastically.

"I like it" the first of a strong set of 22 songs was the opening song which was really good and to my delight it was followed by Love Love which really got the crowd going and me as I love the song, the chorus of the song always gets me up and going. I have to say i was very lucky as The Circus is my favourite album from them and greatest day, up all night, said it all, the garden and hold up a light were on the list, I like greatest day but love the other four and they performed them brilliantly and I just enjoyed them all so much, the garden especially had a very epic performance that was staged brilliantly, as much as I adore Up All Night I feel it gets lost in a live show and i never enjoy the live version (other tours included) as much as the studio version which is strange for me as I love all the live versions in general of their songs than studio versions. They really covered everything, promoted the new material, had all the big hits in there and a few non single tracks thrown in and a nod to the old Take That so I couldn't ask for more.

Affirmation was probably the performance i liked least, it was the flat moment of the show. I have to say i really like the Three album but i dont think it comes across as well live or maybe that the songs apart from These Days (which was performed brilliantly and had the crowd on their feet) dont hold up as well as songs from all the other albums. I know i certainly enjoyed all the other songs better than i did from Three which surprised myself as im a fan of the album.

Could it be magic was one of the biggest crowd pleasers of the night, started as a ballad and really went uptempo and the dance moves came in and it got a huge reception from the crowd and there was such a great atmosphere throughout, Back for Good was also hugely received from the crowd and as a few of you that know me posting here know i am not the biggest fan of the song but it was enjoyable, they referenced Westlife and Boyzone for it and said they gave them the loan of three stools!! Gary said at the end of the song god we should have got these years ago as its much easier than dancing!!

The closing songs I really couldn't have asked for more, These Days, Rule The World, Shine and Never Forget, I just love all four songs so talk about finishing on a high, Never Forget was epic the crowd just sang the roof of the building. Im a fan of Take That for many many many years and made several failed attempts to get to see them and I finally did get to see them and it was so so so worth waiting for, I enjoyed the show so much and so did the others with me, we all said we would definitely go and see them again, I knew going to it that I would enjoy it, i have seen the dvds, knew they sing live so I had no doubt that side of things would be fine, sometimes at concerts the crowd can be flat but thankfully they were brilliant which helps make a great show.

I have to say Mark seems to be a very nice down to earth guy, when they were working their way through the arena, especially for the finale he tried to tip the fans hands etc and was very thankful to the fans, he definitely had the most interaction with the crowd and genuinely came across as someone who appreciates the fans and I felt he appreciates them a little more than Gary and Howard. That's not to say Gary and Howard didn't show appreciation as they did we just felt Mark showed more.

We were all on a high for the night, the night reminded me (not that i needed it)in-particular how much I adore The Circus album, i have been playing it since, for me The Circus is the peak of their career but luckily i still enjoy elements off all their albums. I would 100% go to see them again in a heartbeat, I have always said once they keep making music that I enjoy I will be supporting them and i am lucky as they are still doing that for me. With the 25 year anniversary coming along in the not to distant future I am determined to get to see what I believe will be a 25 year celebration tour so fingers crossed I will get tickets when that comes to town. For anyone else here who has tickets for this tour and have yet to go you are in for a fantastic night.

Thank you for the review :)

I'm glad you had a great time at the gig. Hopefully, one day I can follow in your footsteps and exchange the dvd experience for the live one.

You're the 2nd person I know of who didn't enjoy Affirmation too much. When I saw the 1st yt video, I was pleasantly surprised. Afterwards, I found Howard's voice a bit weak, tbh. But at least it changed my opinion of the song, because I now find it decent enough.

What did you make of Flaws? I saw some reviews saying their favorite moment of the show was the contemporary dance. Did you find that the dance was the main attraction instead of the song or were they equally emphasized?

Great! Glad you enjoyed it! I can't wait to see them in London next month!

Thank you for that in-depth review. I am disappointed to read that some of the material performed from Three was not as good as you had hoped but you appeared to have enjoyed those performances but not as much as you enjoyed other songs. The closing songs are strong and i too would be extremely happy hearing all those songs together.

From your review it looks like you had a fantastic night and for that i am delighted as you appear to be a true fan that has waited a long long time to get to see them live. The fact you mention you would go again to see them says it all.

I'd really like to see I Like It live, because, from the videos, it comes across really well.

Also, on ticketmaster, most reviews mention Portrait as being the best moment of the show, next to The Garden.

I think it all comes down to personal taste, at the end of the day. As long as you had a good time and found enough moments to like, that's all that matters :)

Thanks for the review. It was really interesting to read your opinion of the show and its comparative strengths and weaknesses. Your comments about the relative weakness of the newer songs in relation to the older songs in some way confirms what many of us have been saying. lll is a good album as a whole but lacks stand out songs. Transferred to a show where they have to stand on their own merit the songs therefore fall short in comparison to the well established songs. I'm not surprised you thought that Affirmation was the weak spot in the concert as I cannot fathom why they chose it? If another song was needed for Howard there are better choices from their back catalogue.

Mark is undoubtedly a warmer personality than Howard or Gary and reminds me of a little puppy who's always eager to please. Howard is far more reserved and is known to be quite shy. Gary is a more interesting character. Having seen one of his solo concerts he undoubtedly has a great sense of humour and isn't afraid to make fun of himself, but he isn't a natural conversationalist and always strikes me as somewhat guarded and stilted when speaking to an audience. I actually think that TT works because of their differing personality types, but I do wonder if they would have continued if Mark had been the one to leave instead of Jay?

Will post my review after I've seen them in Manchester on the 26th May and it would be nice to read reviews from anyone else going from this forum. For anyone interested the reviews on the Ticketmaster site are generally excellent.

SORRY FOR ALL THE MULTIPLE POSTS - DON'T QUITE KNOW WHAT HAPPENED!!

I couldn't have put it better myself :P It's precisely one of the reasons I'm not warming up to him very much. I'm guarded about people who always smile and try so hard to be liked.

But he has quite his share of fans and, although not the key piece of the band, TT would definitely not have survived without him, for many reasons, not all of them related to music.

I think Mancunian way would have been a much better choice for Howard.

I can't wait to read your review this month.

I think Howard could have been given a song like beautiful world or maybe even if he covered a traditional Gary/Mark/Rob song, maybe even everything changes.

I'm going on the 6th June so will post my review the day after. Can't wait now! Intrigued by Portrait and how it is received.

I actually miss Everything Changes. I liked the BW tour version and your right in saying that Howard could have taken the lead on it or BW.

I' ve seen quite a few tour videos of Affirmation and whilst the lighting is fantastic I loathe the song; I really do. I don't think it has any redeeming features, although I may be one of the few with such strong feelings about it.
