Released June 5th, same week as Mariah -_-

Any predictions? Much better than some of their previous singles, it reminds me of a cross between Being Nobody and Jumpin' a little bit of rap, and good vocals, good lyrics, overall a great track, but can Liberty X pull it back after a bombed album and a flop charity single? :(

I hope so

Well I love it!

I got the album on the day of release because i'm quite the fan, and this was the track that stuck out for me and everybody else as the best track on the album

You should download it :D

I really want them to do well, but I hear the distant sound of a band being dropped :(
It's fab  They're making a new version of it and re-releasing the album the week after :D I shall buy it then...
A dead cert for #1 i think, it΄s a come back and it¨΄s a #1
Never really liked anything apart from "Song For Lovers" so i somehow feel that the highest this would get is probably #10 or something like that.
I haven't heard it yet but if there other works are anything to go by, i can it destined for the Top 10 at least.

It's gonna have to be damn good for them to survive really.

I used to like them during 2002/2003, but since their comeback they have disappointed me big time and I've started to dislike them a lot. I hope this can change my mind somehow...

I agree. Just A Little, Got To Have Your Love etc. were great pop tunes, their latest stuff just isn't good enough.

Though I did become sick of them after a while. We drove from UK to the Alps and my dad played 'Thinking It Over' over and over again for 14 hours

I just dont think they actually care much about Liberty X anymore. Like Michelle has her column in OK and in it all she seems to do is take holidays and stuff. The others just head off an be in reality tv shows and do their own thing.

It's a real shock that they're still going and people like Amy Studt get dropped. I have their first 2 albums and the first is great, but the second really bored me...I wouldn't buy the 3rd.

Should be interesting to see if they can come back. It will be an achievement if they do in my opinion. Their early releases are going to be hard to beat. :)

I agree with almost everything in this thread.

Their first album was pop gold in my opinion, one of my favourite albums ever, then the follow up was a massive disappointment apart from Being Nobody, Take Me Home and a couple of other album tracks, so i'm not really surprised it didn't sell.

Their new album however is a lot better than the second album I think, the tracks are edgier like they were in the beginning, X is a great track and should have been released first, don't get me wrong Song For Lovers performed well enough but X is a better showcase of the album in my opinion.

Everyone keeps saying the X album is a Greatest Hits well i'm telling everyone now it is NOT, there are 10 new tracks on there (some new albums only have 10 new tracks anyway) but as an added incentive they have added on 4 of the best performing singles, those being Just A Little, Got To Have Your Love, Holding On For You and Being Nobody. They did this as an added incentive for people to buy the album, a culmination of the best tracks from the previous 2 added on, I have the first 2 anyway and they are one of my favourite groups so I was going to buy it regardless, and as a fan I don't think it's cheap or abusing their fans in any way.

However, regardless of any of the above the album flopped, entering the charts at #29 or there abouts, and dropped to the mid 60's the week after. A Night To Remember was a huge mistake, cheap cover, cheap video, cheap song, hardly any promotion, no wonder it flopped, especially as a charity single as well that really tarnished their name. They would have been a lot better of if they had of released a double A side of X/Then There Was You, which showcases the up-tempo track and the ballad (ballads being what CIN is usually all about) so they were dropped by V2, signed to an even bigger deal by Virgin, and flop again. Liberty X promised a re-release of the album, A Night To Remember inclusive which is yet to happen.

It seems like the label and management have screwed this project up good and proper, and if X gets the success it deserves I will be very interested to see where they go from there, but for now the future is looking very, very bleak as far as music goes.

I really want them to do well, but I hear the distant sound of a band being dropped :(

I'm afraid so do I.

They are appearing at my local outdoor shopping centre very soon, which can't be a good sign. The last time Hearsay appeared here at the airshow supporting the Tweenies drew closure on their career. :(

So glad this is getting release :cheer: It could bring them back the success they deserve. With the right promo it could go top 5. The album is fantastic, my fave of theirs, the first one was fab too but Being Somebody was a huge letdown!
I like Liberty X and hope they'll do well but unless they get back to major success like Just A Little, I fear their individual ambitions will drive them apart.
