So I didn't even know this existed until I was typing up this rate. Oops. Wasn't any loss to my life anyway, it's a fairly basic video and a deserved last placer IMO!

Safely ahead of last place, we have Something Kinda Ooooh. Excellent song, I'm sure many agree that it's one of their absolute best. Sadly, the video doesn't live up to the song, with it all being fairly basic and like it had a budget of about £10. :( I'd personally have ranked it a BIT higher than this but it's no big loss at this stage for me!

On the video commentary on Style, Cheryl and Sarah said there was supposed to be a lot of special effects that they ran out of time to do so that's why it looks shit.

Oh that makes sense! DAMN their schedule x

Horrid video, for a song so amazing it's a shame. :(

Unsurprisingly low is the video for See the Day. Perfect for the song I gues - nice and Christmassy. However, I rewatched it the other day, and it's pretty uninteresting, I remembered very little of it from back in the day (whereas I vividly remember most of the others!) and it kinda doesn't go anywhere. However, it gave us this:

One positive thing I'll say about it is that I like how colourful it is, and I like how they look. But everything going on around them is a mess, especially the car scenes! :lol:

Lol at my low scores. -1 for SKO is a bit harsh. I just remember being so disappointed when I saw it.

Poor BCYLM doesn't manage to do well in anything - singles rates, music video rates, charts, and it even missed #1 in both mine and Jay's personal charts! The video for this suits the mood of the song I guess but is quite basic at the end of the day.

^ Ha, I just watched that video there and noticed the shot of Nadine trolling Nicola's big emotional teary-eyed moment at 2:54! I'm guessing the mood of the video was kind of lost on her. :lol:

I hate that song. The video isn't that bad. But urgh. I feel like this was a completely Cheryl/Nicola/Kimberley project and the overruled management on this one. I'd enjoy the song so much more if Nadine took at least one of the choruses.

I know what you mean Joe, there was actually a version uploaded and swiftly removed with Nadine singing part of the first chorus and Sarah singing "there's a new meaning to freedom when I'm with you" in verse 2 also.

I don't know if it's hindsight, but Official Charts' Twitter a few months back were doing one of their "overlooked pop gems" things that they're still running, and 'On The Metro' was voted into their shortlist. They tweeted asking if it was a missed opportunity as a single, and Nicola herself responded to it with an emphatic "YES". :P
