Untouched and Lolita are everything but You ruin Me is a beautiful comeback. I'm just glad they finally got another hit from it more than anything

11. Kylie Minogue – Crystallize [2-2-2-3-5-5-7-8-9-12-13-14-14-20-21-25-26-28-28-31-33-35-36-38-37-37-38-] *Still Charting*

Minoguey just missing out on the top 10, shame. Her charit single from a few months back manages to make it above all but one of her Kiss Me Once singles. A good placing. It sits nicely with songs like Into The Blue, I Believe In You and All The Lovers and is a really gorgeous track, a bit short though, thankfully there is an extended mix floating around. The video could do without the credits, or at least an edit of it should be done.

'Ugly Heart' and 'Sirens' omg  two absolute BEAUTIES so happy to see them top 20 here. Haven't much else the things i do know i ADORE so yay for that!

Alanis once again, this time with her most recent single, a song for a documentary about coffee or something, I dunno. Still, it's another soft song with powerful lyrics, much like Today, but this one is on itunes, go buy it y'all. One of my longest runners at #1, this song refuses to get old for me, it's just gorgeous.

I am one of few who never got bored or annoyed by Let It Go, but then, I love Idina and her voice. I've not seen Frozen so I have no idea what context this song fits into, all I know i that it's an epic ballad that you need to act out and sing along to.

Let It Go is everything and the haters need to take Idina's advice tbh
Yes Let It Go is flawless, I haven't got sick of it yet either. Her voice is stunning

From the beauty to the booty. First single from Christina Perri's second album. I loved this from the first listen, waaaay back at the end of 2013, seems ages ago. The way that the first chrous is so....subtle but then builds up, stunning. Christina's voice througout.....stunning. The video, stunning. Everything about this song is stunning.

Flop-Lo now. So many people hate this song, dunno why, it's SO GOOD. Great beat, addictive chorus and alot of booty in it. Pitbull and Itchy Areola both add raps to this song, but not together sadly. Pit's BOOTYBOOTYBOOTY bit is iconic. This is the 8th or so time Jenny Lo has done a song with him. Amaze.

06 | Hilary Duff - All About You [8-1-1-1-3-4-5-7-8-7-6-6-5-6-8-9-] *Still Charting*

The Duffster *.* slaying all the bitches left right and centre. The main proper single from the album that is never gonna see the light of day at this rate. A fun, punchy summery tune

that is still not out here. Annoying since she had a real chance of a hit I think. Awesome video too, she really doesn't seem to ever age, lucky hoe.

None of these gifs are showing, my ipad hates you (or joshua) :smoke:

Human is amazing though, wish if was as big as Jar Of Hearts! All About You is a tune too, they should have at least tired to push it :drama: I know she's hardly Rihanna and guaranteed a hit but she managed it in 2005 and this is the sort of thing Taylor Swift or Katy Perry or Kelly Clarkson would have a bit with, radio would love it.

Pitbull's (literal) booty >>>>> Iggy or J-Lo's.

05 | Within Temptation feat. Dave Pirner/Piotr Rogucki - Whole World Is Watching [2-2-2-3-3-1-2-4-8-9-9-12-14-18-23-28-33-32-34-34-35-37-38-36-38-40-xx-35-32-29-33-39-xx] 31 Weeks

Within Temptation once again, and for the last time this countdown. The third single from Hydra and another collab, this time with either Dave Pirner (never heard of him) or Piotr Rogucki (never heard of him). Both versions are amazing, but I prefer the sound of Piotr's voice to Dave's. A typically epic WT ballad, it really does sound like it could be lifted from a movie soundtrack or something. It refuses to get old for me, just gorgeous.

Edited by Regina

Hilary Duff! :cheer: "All About You" is so underrated, glad to see it so high on your countdown!

Before firing out the Top 4, imma take time to look forward to what will likely dominate my 2015 chart and EOY

QUEEN Alanis Morissette will return this year, with a special re-do of Jagged Little Pill for its 20th Anniversary. A new studio album is also coming apparantly. So with the chance of two new albums from her, Alanis may well slay all the bitches this year. If she goes down the same route she did for The Morning and Today, it'll be amaze.

It's almost been SIX YEARS since Mandy Moore last released an album. Bitch has been promising one for ages too. Apparantly she is hard at work so hopefully new music from her this year. More than likely with some influence from hubby Ryan Adams, god I hope so.

MY BAES. Lawson, Matty and Shayne-y all have new albums out this year. I might explode tbh. Lawson's will obv be the best of the bunch, hopefully some nu-di-TY from Andy please.

ALSO new music from:

Natalie Imbruglia (she's doing an Anastacia and releasing a covers album of male artists, meh.)

Jewel - maybe

Hilary Duff

Hopefully Lawson do a Mandy Moore and don't release anything for as long as possible.

Phillip <3 best American Idol winner ever (Liam DEAD) pops up in my top 5 with the lead single from his second album, which is totally amazing. This song is so very infectious, especially that powerful chorus, you can't help but listen to it over and over. The video is kinda, plain, but Phillip is so pretty, who cares right?

Jenny Lo for the last time this countdown with the most pop-ish single from A.K.A. Typically J-Lo, a song about love, but more positive than some of her other ones. Another very instant song with a very good chorus, the video is much better than all the other ones this era, sexy but not too smutty. Lovely.

Phillip is such a generic idol winner, pretty much every winner since him (and a good few before him) has been a generic white male with guitar music  but at least he's hot.

And there we have it, my two main KWEENS of my youth reign supreme in my 2014 EOY.

When Anastacia announced her new album was gonna be sprock, the world rejoyced. However, there were doubts if it could manage to compete with her Anastacia album, it did.

Stupid Little Things is easily the best thing she has done since Pieces of a Dream and was the best way to signal ner comeback. Didn't make any dent in the charts, but who gives a hoot? BITCH IS BACK. Uptempo firey song with typical Ana grit and power. She's lost none of that power in her voice. With 7 straight weeks at the top, it's not only my longest running #1 this year, but it's the first song to spend that long at #1 since Guardian by Queen Alanis.

Kylie has never had a Single #1 in any of my EOY's for some reason, Aphrodite was my 2010 #1 album but that's it. Into The Blue was the first single from and the only real "hit" from the lovely flop that was Kiss Me Once. A typical Kylie by numbers track, it's safe as safe can be, but utterly divine at the same time. Eurphoric in sound, the chorus is so punchy and danceable that when it comes on, you gotta get up and boogie. Kylie never fails to chart well for me, 5 weeks at #1 makes it her longest runner at the top for me and one of her longest charting songs too, not quite reaching the 52 weeks All The Lovers clocked up. I have heard ITB a good 300 odd times and still love it now as much as I did back when it debuted, almost a year ago now.
