September 16, 200618 yr By the way, where is the link I have to go on, lol? There's a green Tartan Asia Extreme logo on the right hand side, click on it and that'll take you there.... By the way, a fair few of these films are available in Virgin, Play and HMV for £7.99 or as part of promotions (3 for £20 quid, etc..), so I wouldn't order anything off of Tartan's website if I were you, cos all the prices there seem to be £19.99.....
September 16, 200618 yr Ok I found it now. If I do buy any I'll probably look on ebay. It's the only one I have my own account on. If I get them off HMV it means I have to phone my dad, which I don't really want to do. Plus he hates me asking for stuff.
September 17, 200618 yr Author Not all '15' rated Horror films are c**p (hasn't the original "Halloween" film been re-classified a '15' recently...?), I thought "Silent Hill" was a pretty creditable horror film - and certainly the best film by far to be made from a video game - , the "Ringu" films are all '15' certs as well, as is "Ju-On"; in fact, most of these excellent J-Horror or Korean Horror films are '15' certificates, so really, your hypothesis is pretty shaky there Royston.... also there's a lot of explotation horror trash that probs ends up in Music Zone which probs only gets an 18 rating because maybe it has 2 more 'mothermuckers' than is allowed for a 15 or got more booby shots in them (DVD World does a feature each month saying whats been taken out to get certain ratings etc, and also see that This Film Is Not Yet Rated film by kirby dick). also each country has it's own idea of whats should be rated at what age level. think some 18 features here are like 7+ in France as maybe they dont give a damn about naughty words? and i think in Denmark you can buy anything over the age of 14! so maybe in Japanese culture with Shintoism all the ghosts and evil spirit things might be seen more frightening in the eyes of their culture than a lot of heroic bloodshed. and then again maybe a man having sex with a tractor might be seen as something suitable for their version of you've been framed  (well i laughed when i read the plot to Destricted  )
September 17, 200618 yr Author There's a green Tartan Asia Extreme logo on the right hand side, click on it and that'll take you there.... also they've got a new label called Tartan Grindhouse for the type of sick stuff that QT and RR will love!! have a look in Music Zone as they seem to have a lot of Tartan stuff cheap. I got my tale of two sisters there for £6.97. also CD-Wow
September 19, 200618 yr Author You're in the general Tartan Horror section, which includes a lot of Non-Korean/Japanese films. If you click onto the Asia Extreme link that'll take you into Taran's Asian film section which includes all the horrors plus non-Horror stuff like "Battle Royale", "In The Mood For Love", etc..... You'll probably be better off just in the Horror section really so must of film4's output over the next few month then   well if you must have extras and the like
April 10, 200718 yr Hi when is the film Catacombs coming out  isn't Pink meant to be in it, or directing or something
May 13, 200718 yr Author Hi when is the film Catacombs coming out  isn't Pink meant to be in it, or directing or something  best look at the lionsgate website
January 7, 200817 yr Does anybody know whats coming out this year? Saw V Wrong turn 2 - 7.1.08 Hills have eyes 3 ??? Hostel 3 ???
January 7, 200817 yr I put a question mark about Hills have eyes 3 because I havent heard they will officially release one but the way the last one ended, I think there will probably will be one. Nevertheless, the last one wasnt a great followup anyway like Hostel 2 really.
January 7, 200817 yr At least the following films should open in 2008: The Eye (US remake of the Asian horror flick) Diary Of The Dead (New Romero zombie flick) Possession (Sarah Michelle Gellar chiller) Funny Games (US remake of the Austrian flick) All The Boys Love Mandy Lane (is creating big buzz already) Prom Night (remake) Mother Of Tears (Argento's nnew one, already opened in Italy) The Happening (the latest from M. Night Shyamalan) Hellboy 2/Mummy 3/ X-Files 2 (ok, not exactly horror but still) Hellraiser (remake) Quarantine (remake of a Spanish horror flick) Saw V Motel Hell (remake) Trick 'R Treat And slated either for 2008 or 2009: Friday The 13th (remake) Cabin Fever 2 (This should be cool one based on the snippets of the story that have been released) Day Of The Dead (remake) Grudge 3 (probably straight to video I would assume) Last House On The Left (remake) The Mutant Chronicles Underworld 3
January 7, 200817 yr Underworld 3 is apparently going to be a flashback, showing the origins of Marcus(?) and his brother. (can't remember their names!) Cabin Fever 2 should be good and All The Boys Love Mandy Lane looks fantastic! Can't wait to see that.
January 9, 200817 yr So, basically Horror for 2008 looks pretty much the same as Horror did in 2007.. And 2006........And 2005.......... -_- Crappy remakes and sequels regurgitating all that has gone before... An absolute dearth of originality or new, interesting ideas.... BOOOORRRRRINNNNNGGGGGG..... This is basically the reason the genre died a death for most of the 90s.... I see no signs at all of a "Near Dark" or a "Descent" anywhere at all in this list.... Early reports for the new Argento flick (on IMDb) suggests that "Mother of Tears" is truly fukkin' DIRE.. And this is coming from Argento fans..... Hardly surprising, can't even remember the last really good film Argento made....
January 9, 200817 yr Day Of The Dead (remake) It's not a re-make..... It's a f***ing SHAM! It's got nothing to do with the original at all! not even underground or anything! How dare some f*** witt try and make Romero's work better then it is! He couldn't make a good zombie film with Land Of The Dead so what makes some clown with f*** all experience or original ideas about a zombie think that he could do better? f***in' stupid if you ask me.
January 10, 200817 yr Hi when is the film Catacombs coming out  isn't Pink meant to be in it, or directing or something  Its not coming out in the cinemas, at least not here anyway, I think there were a few countries it was in cinemas but not many. Anyway, its due to be released on DVD on 3rd March 2008 in UK (not long now :w00t: ) Its also being released in a boxset with Saw 4 http://www.play.com/Search.aspx?searchtype...h&pa=search I've seen it and I dont think its the best horror film I've ever seen, but I think Pink did a good job acting seen as tho its her first time acting
