Not really immediately loving this as much as their previous songs oop. The hook/chorus/whatever is kind of annoying.

Adore this! Shrines is up there as one of my favourite albums ever so I hope this becomes just as good :)

given how much i loved their debut i never imagined i'd be in a situation where this just gets lost amongst other new records / i don't give a flying fuck.

 

it's quite obviously a total poor man's rehash of their debut, so therefore what exactly is the point?! why would you kick off your second album era with a song as nondescript and indifferent as 'push pull'? even when you've got the slightly better 'another eternity'?` did the two of them not realise this when making it or what about 4AD when they okayed it for release. the mind really boggles and ultimately is very very disappointed ;_;

I feel the same really. It's good and nice and there are a few highlights I keep coming back to but the element of surprise is gone and I'm not excited anymore. :(

 

omg and YES 'push pull' is SO blah. I'll go ahead and even say that it's the worst song on the album! 'begin again' would've been a MUCH better choice. Or 'stranger than earth' even.

Having listened to this all week, I adore this album. I don't think it matters that it sounds similar to their debut; they've establised their sound that works for them :wub:

Flood On The Floor is the highlight for me!

listening to this now, 'begin again' and 'bodyache' are absolute magic. :wub:

Judging by the pictures being posted on social media, I think the Begin Again video is finally coming! :cheer:
