Sweden // Måns Zelmerlöw - Heroes (One of my favourite singers, delivering a stunning pop track with an incredible stage performance. What more can I ask for?) 2. Estonia // Elina Born & Stig Rästa - Goodbye To Yesterday (YASSS, this is amazing. The Smiths meets Beautiful South - fantastic lyrics and such a strong melody/harmonies, the best duet here for sure and Estonia's best entry since the 1999-2002 period) Great 3. United Kingdom // Electro Velvet - Still In Love With You (call me patriotic, call me insane, but I genuinely love this now since seeing the live performance at Greatest Hits. A UK entry that actually sticks in my head constantly from the first listen! It would definitely be better without the guy, the scat and the ad-libs but I guess it's all part of the tacky charm. 23rd place is surely sealed.) 4. Norway // Mørland & Debrah Scarlett - A Monster Like Me (Beautiful and a very interesting entry. Norway have been on top form for years now, this is the eighth entry of theirs in a row that I've either really liked or loved) 5. Slovenia // Maraaya - Here For You (This is a really great entry from Slovenia, I hope it gets the result it deserves. Brilliant chorus, instantly catchy, interesting singer with a great/unique voice, fantastic production - love the violin sections) 6. Ireland // Molly Sterling - Playing With Numbers (Very Lucie Silvas, very Sara Bareilles, very beautiful melody - come on Ireland!) 7. The Netherlands // Trijntje Oosterhuis - Walk Along (I don't expect to ever love this as much as Birds or Calm After The Storm but I do think it's a third very strong entry in a row from The Netherlands, could see this being a radio hit in Europe) 8. Germany // Ann Sophie - Black Smoke (Paloma Faith should have sent this for the UK, damn Ella Eyre giving her song to Germany instead of providing Paloma with another Changing type smash) 9. Lithuania // Monika Linkytė & Vaidas Baumila - This Time (I feel like this could be on Sheppard's album, much love) Very Good 10. Moldova // Eduard Romanyuta - I Want Your Love (Insanely catchy, like a poppy mash up of Liberty X's Just A Little and Mariah's It's Like That) 11. Switzerland // Mélanie René - Time To Shine (love the intro/first verse, it's like Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart meets The Corrs' Somebody For Someone. The rest of the song is still nice but a lot less interesting sadly) 20. Italy // Il Volo - Grande Amore (incredibly dramatic, and I'm sure it will continue to grow on me, but I don't want it to win) 21. Azerbaijan // Elnur Huseynov - Hour Of The Wolf (better than last year, melodically similar to Ariana Grande's One Last Time in places) 22. Serbia // Bojana Stamenov - Beauty Never Lies (the first minute and a half is relatively uninteresting but much love for that transformation into a club anthem *.*) Quite Good 23.
