December 13, 201410 yr Well it's not like I've HEARD any of these songs or anything but this album seems a bit lacking in new material. The entirety of his first EP (from 2013!) is on there as well as 3/5 tracks from the second EP, so all in all a full half of the songs have already been released. Those first 2 EPs have been removed from iTunes though for some reason. Hm. I might have to check out the rest of his stuff at some point if 'Hear Your Heart' (one of the two songs that seem to have been wiped out of existence by only being on the now-deleted 'Let It Go' EP, hmph) and 'Hold Back The River' are anything to go by.
December 13, 201410 yr 'Hold Back The River' currently clicking with me like nobody's business. I will definitely be watching out for this guy in the new year.
February 8, 201510 yr I don't understand why 'If You Ever Want To Be In Love' isn't the next single, it's amazing. By far the best thing I've heard from him but a Let It Go re-release is acceptable because it is a lovely track.
February 8, 201510 yr Author It's hard to call what's happening right now, what with Hold Back the River being back on the R1 playlist
February 8, 201510 yr I feel like they're just latching back on to it because it re-peaked and putting it straight on the B-list to encourage it to climb more, a bit like Take Me To Church which if I recall correctly was added to the C-list but moved up two rungs the next week. That's just my interpretation though, it could well be a re-release. 'If You Ever Want To Be In Love' should still be the single though.
February 8, 201510 yr Author I see why they're doing it really but it's ridiculous when Let It Go is up for pre-order still (well it was when I last checked), it's a messy campaign so far lol :( Oh and yes, I do very much like If You Ever Want To Be In Love! I think he did it live when I saw him supporting Tom Odell last February :D (ooh a year ago tonight, fun fact)
July 23, 20159 yr Author It really is such a good album  I really want him to release an upbeat track next, the album has numerous uptempos and he's released two slower tracks so far so it would be great for him to show some diversity.
