Yes that they've played it! It's number 4 now I us. Not bad though really considering.

Hold It Against Me?

Hold It Against Me was the last single to be playlisted by Radio 1; I know Capital played Till the World Ends.

It's performing better than Work Bitch on all fronts; digital sales are lower in the US than they were when Work Bitch debuted so it's first week sales will be quite a bit lower. It's already surpassed 4.1 million views on YouTube; Work Bitch ended the tracking week with 5 million views (although I'm not sure about stats from the US since they're the only ones considered for the Hot 100).

Hoping it clings to the end of the top 10 by the time the video debuts (in less than 4 days!)

PG debuted @ no. 64 on Irish singles chart

That's the evidence you need to show you the UK system of holding back the single works.

it debuted at no.19 on downloads chart so if it had full week it would chart higher..

also it has debuted at no.88 in Germany..

Yup but without streaming it probably would've debuted in the top 50.

Estimated to sell roughly 100,000 in the US which is pretty decent. Hopefully it sells a little over the 100,000 mark and not under.

A massive drop but I think it peaking at #46 was good. It'll climb with the video premiering, it's just a case of how high.
Capital is playing this a decent amount at this early stage. I'm sure it won't be too long before it makes it's way back onto iTunes.

I remember 'Work Bitch' left the iTunes top 1500 after it peaked at #75 initially, so I'm hopeful 'Pretty Girls' pre order will recover when the vid comes out.
