I've just realised this is the first time she's:

A) performing a lead single on an American awards show since Gimme More in 2007 [7.5 years]

B) performing a lead single live before an albums release since Circus in 2008 [6.5 years]

C) performing an album single anywhere on television since Jimmy Kimmel in 2011 [4 years]

Crazy.

This is amazing news. Yes! Can't wait to see it. Trouble is doing better in the UK now - that's a good sign for this song I think.

Trouble is A listed on Radio 1, so hopefully Pretty Girls will get the same treatment.

Sounds like it'll be amazing already! :D

Pretty Girls coming for Brits 7th UK #1.

The best britney videos have a narrative. I can't wait. This had better do well in the uk.
Do the Billboard awards get shown in the UK?

No but I'd be more than happy to stream it with you! :)

Insider: BBMAs performance more of an Iggy Azalea featuring Britney performance rather than the other way around.

LOL, just kidding. Today I realised how close we are to everything regarding Pretty Girls and I got super excited. I can't believe a week from now we are getting the song's premiere.

Any news on how the UK release will turn out?

They're really trying with this aren't they? I haven't seen a song get so much pre-premiere promotion since the Applause & Roar type thing of 2013. I've got everything crossed this is an absolute jam and bags her a worldwide smash. Please Britney :(

4/5 - song premiere

11/5 - video premiere

17/5 - Billboard performance

looks like the song has good shot for being hit!

If this does manage to be a sizeable hit, i.e. like Till the World Ends (but on a more global level), it would confirm Britney's presence in today's mainstream market.
