ROBBIE WILLIAMS is to be immortalised by his beloved port vale FC

The club are voting to name an area of their ground after the multi-millionarie.

Robbie is a life long supporter of the league one side and in February bunged them a "significant" investment - believed to be £250,000- after hearing they were hard up.

In gratitude, the port vale side, known as the Valiants, are planning to honour their star shareholder.

A source said: "The idea is to name either a part of a stand, a refreshment kiosk or a hospitality room after Robbie.

Everyone is keen to get Robbie's name up in lights.

I think they should stick a picture of him in his fat days next to the pie vendor

INTENSIVE CARE SALES

Intensive Care released on Monday 24th October 2005, entered the album charts at No.1 in 18 countries, including the Billboard European Top 100 Albums chart. Robbie's over-the-counter first week sales of 'Intensive Care' in the UK were almost 20% higher than his previous fastest-selling album release in 2004 - 'Greatest Hits'.

More than 373,000 copies of the album were sold in the UK first week, making it the second fastest selling album of the year and the fourth fastest selling album since records began. At one point 'Intensive Care' was selling at the rate of nine copies per second in the UK. Three million copies were shipped worldwide to retail in just seven days. Robbie Williams' global solo album sales currently stand in excess of 40 million copies.

'Intensive Care' has dominated the digital charts since its release, sitting at No.1 in the iTunes chart in 14 out of 20 territories. The album peaked at No. 4 position in the US, where the album is only released digitally. Robbie Williams has accrued an impressive 22 top ten singles in the UK alone. Seven out of eight of his albums have also reached No. 1.

Robbie has amassed a record 15 Brit Awards, three Ivor Novellos, a Q Magazine Classic Songwriting Award and all manner of worldwide MTV gongs. 'Live at Knebworth', the commemorative album recorded over three nights in 2003, where he played to 375,000 fans (another record), holds the title of fastest selling live album the UK.

And i'm sure it's passed the 6 million mark by now and the Euopean tour has'nt even began yet :o

It is a great read Scotty about his achievements.

About the PV dedication, trust the flippin Sun, about typical of our press, A club want to honour him and they have to be snide about it, mind you it does read funny.

I mean how can you go from a stand or hospitality room to a refreshment kiosk..it has to be the first two so as not to look daft, how about the street named after him, thats more in keeping I would of thought.

When Robbie gave his donation I think it was on the priviso of having a youth centre for Asperger sufferers, so they could name that part after him.

The cover is a bit disappointing isn't it? I would have put the real Robbie in the front and the 'guru' at the back. :D

Robbie to help more county groups

Community groups in and around Stoke-on-Trent are being urged to apply for cash from Robbie Williams' charity.

Give it Sum has handed out £3m to local projects during its five-year history and wants to help more.

It is holding an information day at Vale Park on Thursday so people can find out how to bid for a grant.

Robbie's mum, Jan Williams, and Gilly Green manage the fund and are staging the information event to get more people to apply.

Karen Bowen, chair of the Townsend Residents Community Association which received £18,000, said it was not difficult to apply.

Robbie, who was born in Stoke-on-Trent, has raised funds for the charity he set up with the help of Comic Relief.
