The last song in the 31-40 keeping in the theme is another great song, this song will always be one of the songs I associate with 2014 the most as it seemed to be playing at my favourite times of the year.

The run of great songs continues! If only all of these faves of mine were a bit higher than the 31-40 region :P

Wow just a bit! Must have had 4's & 5's across the board almost :o

I'm pretty sure there were quite a few people who normally don't vote in this but turned out just to give Loreen a +5 hence her massive total! IIRC it was the busiest week for this game ever at the time though I think that may have been beaten since.

Yep, it was at 24  the game was averaging out about 16-17 a week at the time, but on that week out of the 24 voters there were 12 "+5"s, 6 "+4"s and 2 "+3"s and only a single "-1", "-2","-3" & "-5" going against it.

There have been bigger one week scores since then and bigger voting turn outs reaching a peak of "40" this year, the recipient of biggest one week score is still to come.

GIMH Faded Stay High

GIMH is OK but I prefer NE

Faded is also good, but again there's been much better tunes last year.

Stay High (the remix) is amazing

I can't remember if it's in my top 25/20 for 2014. Anyone listened to it while high yet? :kink:

It's not exclusively for gays you know.

Of course :) I just feel a bit odd liking it. But I don't care anyway, it's still a great track! :D

Who da funk? Pitbull with a hit on Reshuffle, it started 2014 being the first Reshuffle #1 but couldn't keep up the momentum, but still managed a decent score at the end. This is Pitbull's most fun and catchy song for me, so it's great to see it do well.

Another Reshuffle #1 next, as Jubel lands at #29, I loved this track too, but this is my favourite genre of dance music. It did seem much bigger than it was to me, thought it had more T10 weeks.

Although unlike Jubel it never landed in the Top 2, it still beat them in this least by a point. More liberal saxophone use, but I love it so it doesn't bother me.

We leap into the +100pt songs, with a 2013 leftover which still did far better than his 2014 entry. The song finished 17th in 2013 with 158pts giving a total of 262 points to "Animals" which is probably in my top 10 dance tracks of the decade so far.

Up next another OCC#1, while I love Becky Hill and appreciate her vocals on this track, it's a bit forgettable for me, I thought "Afterglow" was a better track.

25. IGGY AZALEA FT. CHARLI XCX - FANCY (106 POINTS)

Before 2014 I really disliked Iggy Azalea's output, so while I was initially wary of "Fancy" but even I couldn't deny that it's an absolute tune, it's all about the chorus for me though, speaking of which Charli XCX still has her solo hit "Boom Clap" left, could it match the YE peak of "I Love It" of #7 in 2013?

At #24 it's my favourite song of 2014. Would have liked it in the top 20, but it only had an unrepresentive two weeks in the T10. It's the highest placed song to do so.

23. JESS GLYNNE - RIGHT HERE (148 POINTS)

Jess Glynne is perhaps the Reshuffle artist of the year, she had three Reshuffle #1s, all of them two word titles with the first word beginning with R, but this one didn't have Clean Bandit on it, so there you go she's versatile. Joking this is a good song, not as strong as her other two.

22. RITA ORA - I WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN (173 POINTS)

WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 4

AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE 43.25

The first song to have multiple weeks at Reshuffle #1 next, it was also the song that drew Rita with Geri Halliwell in the British Female with most solo #1s, until Cheryl came and pissed all over that later in the year. I really disliked this song at first, now I find it tolerable.

This song seemed destined never to make Reshuffle #1 but just did it in its last week, which I'm glad about as I love Paloma and this song and she never did that well on Reshuffle previously, that changed and she still is in the top 20 with Sigma.

Any one want to predict the T10?

I'm sure we'll see Funk, SIO, Rather Be, Boom Clap, Changing, Ghost, I Got U, Outside, My Love and Blank Space (I thought if UV voted at all she'd vote Waves -5 every time :kink:

I have no idea of the ranking  well apart from Rather Be #1 :kink:
