Does anyone know why out of all the 5th round matched the BBC picked an all premier league tie in Aston Villa V Leicester. Especially those two sides. You'd think they might have gone for one of the giant killers.

Not to be a pedant, but West Brom are at home to West Ham tomorrow - not the other way round!

I predict;

West Brom 1-1 West Ham

Blackburn 2-1 Stoke

Derby 1-0 Reading

Crystal Palace 2-2 Liverpool

Aston Villa 2-0 Leicester

Bradford 1-3 Sunderland

Arsenal 2-1 Middlesbrough

Preston 0-2 Man United

Shocking performance from West Ham today! Fully deserved the thrashing we took, fair play to West Brom and Tony Pulis for their performance - to think they were going to sell Brown Ideye on deadline day  West Ham have now won twice in 12 games since Xmas and we now have nothing to play for this season. Plenty of fans want Allardyce out when his contract expires in the summer.

Kudos to Blackburn and Reading for surprise wins today too.

West Ham shouldn't be complaining at the thought of finishing 8th in the league.

A vocal minority will complain until Allardyce leaves the club. 8th is fantastic for us of course, but we could easily slip down the league further now (remember West Ham were 4th at Christmas).

West Ham were gutless today. Shocking performance. I know Pulis sides can be hard to beat, but there was just a real lack of character there today. No effort to ever really spread the play wide. I agree West Ham are a bit in no man's land as they won't finish in the European places and won't get relegated - so I don't get why the players chose today to have such an off-day! Granted they've not been anywhere near the form they had in late 2014, but still!

As for Allardyce well I can understand West Ham fans wanting him rid - traditionally they have always tried to play passing football. While I Big Sam has tried this, you see when things get a bit rough he reverts back to his old ways... but the question to ask really is who would they get?

Great win for Liverpool :D Palace were complete garbage.

Aston Villa actually scoring 2 goals to beat Leicester City 2-1. How do people think Tim Sherwood will manage as the Villa manager?

Bradford currently 2-0 up against Sunderland. Potential shock on hopefully with 27 minutes to go.

I think Sherwood is a good fit for them. Should be able to avoid relegation & possibly reach Semis here.

Bradford could well make another final! They seem to be able to beat anyone (what's the bet for a Bradford Villa repeat?)

They've done it again!

Bradford City have knocked Sunderland out of the FA Cup with a 2-0 win. They are through to the quarter-finals.

Thank you Bradford City!!

Definitely would not like to face Bradford at their home ground. Their pitch is almost pure mud.

Very wide open for all involved. What's the betting two of Liverpool/Arsenal/potentially Man Utd get paired against one another?

Arsenal have won, hoping they play against West Bromwich or Reading in the next round.

Efficient performance from Arsenal, killed the game early. Aston Villa perked up in the second half - they and Leicester were both dire in the first half.

Another fantastic result for Bradford - but is it really a shock result!? They've done it so many times over recent years and Sunderland epitomize Premier League mediocrity. Not detracting from their achievement, but I think Sunderland winning today would have been more of a shock to me.

Quarter-Final Draw Prediction:

Liverpool v Arsenal

Blackburn v Aston Villa

Reading v Bradford City

Man United/Preston v West Brom

What do other people think?

When is the draw being made?

I had a feeling the big 3 will be kept apart but I'm hoping for at least one non-PL fixture so a lower league team is guaranteed an SF spot.

Tomorrow evening, before the Preston Man United match

I have a feeling the big teams won't avoid each other actually, hopefully Bradford will see of the other one

Liverpool Vs Arsenal would be ideal. Definitely want to avoid Bradford next round for sure I'd take Reading or Blackburn preferably.

Surprised there's been no draws this round perhaps the stage is set for tomorrow night...

No one is gonna fancy going to Ewood Park... their results over Stoke and Swansea have slipped under the radar a bit. Blackburn are a decent team with good striking options like Gestede, King and Jordan Rhodes.
That is true. I suppose naturally you'd want to avoid being the away team regardless of who you're playing if you have serious intentions of winning the whole thing. A lower team away is always a potential banana skin...
