January 4, 201510 yr Sorry if I've missed something but what are TEA and SEA and how are they calculated? I think they stand for 'Track equivalent albums' and 'stream equivalent albums'. TEA - a certain amount of tracks bought individually and downloaded represent one album. SEA - a certain amount of tracks from the album that are streamed are now the equivalent of one album. I can't describe it very well and I may be wrong but that's the idea I think. Edited January 4, 201510 yr by Nelly. S
January 4, 201510 yr Thanks for explaining what TEA and SEA are. Does Billboard publish a year end sales of albums? How did Ed, Sam Smith and 1D (The Brit parade) do? 1D seems to have gotten all the cool slots around Thanksgiving and Xmas to promote "Four".
January 4, 201510 yr Author Why does the total sales figure not include teas and seas? Because TEA & SEA are only used in the Billboard 200. No other chart uses it.
