New EP from Emmy the Great being released on 26th January. Couldn't see a topic for it, apologies if there is one!

 

Despite having listened to both of her albums in the past, can't say I actually remember any songs by her...but this new single 'Swimming Pool' is absolutely divine. It features backing vocals from Tom Fleming of Wild Beasts and is really rather wonderful.

This just came up on my Spotify Discover playlist.

 

Such a shame that she's started singing in a really weird way. Her early work was really good and sung in her own voice. Why she has changed now, I have no idea.
