Meghan Trainor's first full length studio album for Epic gets its US release on January 13th, 2015, but how much will "Title" sell in its first week?

Here's what you need to know:

    1. The Best Part (Interlude)

    2. All About That Bass

    3. Dear Future Husband

    4. Close Your Eyes

    5. 3am

    6. Like I'm Gonna Lose You (ft John Legend)

    7. Bang Dem Sticks

    8. Walkashame

    9. Title

    10. What If I

    11. Lips Are Movin

    12. No Good For You - (deluxe)

    13. Mr. Almost (ft Shy Carter) - (deluxe)

    14. My Selfish Heart - (deluxe)

    15. Credit - (deluxe)

  • "All About That Bass" spent 8 weeks at #1 on the Hot 100 and has sold 4,360,000 to date (billboard chart date 10th January 2015).
  • The "Title (EP)" debuted at #15 on the Billboard 200 selling 20,996 in its first week, and has sold over 150,000.
  • "Dear Future Husband" has so far peaked at #64 on the Hot 100, and has sold in the region of 400,000.
  • The official second single from the album, "Lips Are Movin" has so far peaked at #4 on the Hot 100, and has sold 1,062,000 to date (billboard chart date 10th January 2015).
  • The album's title track, "Title" debuted at #100 on the Hot 100. It has sold in the region of 250,000.
  • Another album track, "Close Your Eyes" has sold in the region of 150,000.

So, how much will "Title" sell in its first week in the US?

Probably 120k which is really great for a debut album, and I'm sure by the end of it's chart run will close with 750k (inc. TEAs and SEAs)

Probably 120k which is really great for a debut album,

Is that 120k traditional sales?

I like to refer to TEA/SEA aided totals as "units" and traditional sales as "sales". I wish Billboard would too.

Yeah that's what I meant which it will equal to 175k-180k in unit sales.

The album has been top 25 on Pre-orders in America for the last month which makes me believe that it could manage to shift at least 175,000 once everything is added.

United States (80)

Songs:

6. Lips Are Movin

10. All About That Bass

73. Dear Future Husband

111. Title

163. Close Your Eyes

150k max, anyone who seriously thinks it will sell many more due to 1 hit is just delusional. Just look at Sweet Talker..

160,000 in total. I can't see it doing more than 110k in sales as Ariana Grande was top 10 on pre-orders some times and only shifted 162k.

'All About That Bass' has also outperformed 'Bang Bang'. 'Bang Bang' was also available on Ariana Grande's album and Meghan pre-order has done incredibly well on iTunes in comparison to Jessie J.

Your Lips Are Movin is a HIT too!!!

It's a hard one to predict.

"Title" has been in the Top 30 on the iTunes album chart for quite some time, even though the EP has sold a fair bit.

At least 100k in sales, but with TEA/SEA added in, maybe 125k units.

I'm going to revise my figure.

Looking at some of the SEA & TEA totals on this week's BB200, I think Meghan can get at least 40-50k from that.

So I think she'll have a unit total between 140-150k.

Is she likely to be #01 on the Billboard 100?

No clue.

Sales are so low at the moment, so it's not impossible :o

Top 5 for sure, possibly even Top 3.

#09 on iTunes and #130 before release.

At least she will comfortably manage to get to number one on iTunes and with the right promotion could hopefully get number 1 officially.

Didn't expect Meghan's sales to be that high :o, Good on her though, I really love the album.
